Game suddenly crashes to desktop.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
No indication of crash. Happening around 10 minutes after starting session.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
No. Happened in all my saves until now, after a while playing it.

I tried playing with the game directly from the launcher, not through Steam, and it seems the crashing frequency decreased. Managed to play 1-hour straight yesterday without a crash, but they still keep happening. Also I reinstalled the game and am running it as administrator.

Update 03-11:
I updated my game to 1.0.4, and the error still occurs. Tried reinstalling and nothing changed. Started another game and it keeps happening in it too. It just occurs seemingly randomly, in my first game as Sweden I managed to one time play 4+ hours without crashing, but now playing as Brazil I can barely pass 5 minutes without a CTD.

I turned off steam cloud save and that has resolved these crashes for me (you have to do this in steam's settings not the in-game settings)
