video problem

hi,
i have a little problem with the game.
My screen, unfortunatly, have 2 possible resolutions: 800x600 and 1280x720.
Infact i have a video, which is a little more large than the normal size.
This is usually not a problem, but HoI2 , tha before goes, makes me some problems.

The game will not run at any resolution lower than 1024x768. You either need to live with using your actual screen as a viewport to the game screen as posted in the link earlier in this thread or you need a monitor that supports 1024x768 or higher.

I have the same problem, but not on a netbook on a newer laptop.

I also have completely useless technical knowledge but able to follow instructions.

"netbook" label is not really relevant. What is your screen resolution? Ideally, post the output from DXDIAG including the "display devices"
