Hello, I have been working on a ship for a while and my progress is slow because I have to go in game to look at the result. Is there a way to view the ship outside of game?

I saw this picture and thought that it must be possible, but I can't find anything online explaining what this program is or how to get it.

Here is the picture - http://i.imgur.com/6U5DdFU.png?1

Thanks.

That screenshot is from the game running in Previewer mode.

If you have your clausewitz.txt setup correctly then you can run the Previewer to load your mesh every time you export from Maya. ("launch previewer" option in the Maya tool)
Or if you like, you can run the previewer from the commandline and tell it which mesh to load:

So if I have Stellaris installed here... J:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stellaris\
And my mesh is exported to here... J:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stellaris\output\asset.mesh

The on the command line I can run
Code:
"J:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stellaris\stellaris.exe" -editor -filterfile=previewer_filefilter.txt -mount="J:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Stellaris/" -mesh "output/asset.mesh"
and it will launch the previewer with my mesh etc without loading the full game.

Thank you for the reply.

I just started using Maya like 3 days ago, so I really am not sure where I would place that script. Also clausewitz never exports for me. It says it does but there is no file.
