I was also in time... But had the page load problem. All fair in lo e war and latency.
I had about 10 tabs open for the beta page, and just cycled through F5 for them starting about 3 minutes before start of signup, watching the load indicator at the top of each tab and checking each after timing out, until I finally got the page loaded with the link to join. I sure hope I entered my email address correctly! Pretty sure I did...
Guess I should have gone to work on time today. Sleeping in an hour and a half = missing this completely.
Edit: I wasn't in the ALB or RD closed BETA, but I know there were some problems with getting people to really sink time into it. I would have tried to do some vetting to see who could dedicate a lot of time to it. You aren't really worth any good if you can only provide like 5 hours of play over this limited period. I hope most people that got keys are least can dedicate a lot time to it.
I'd just like to clarify that this isn't an "odd time", it makes perfect sense since Eugen is based in Paris. For users from Europe it's a normal "I just got home from work" time and it makes sense to release an invite like this when Eugen staff is in the office.Because the window for sign-up was only a few minutes and at an odd time for many. It seems a more random approach than one that they were seraching for people to really test the game.
I don't think so, its confidential.I hope its allowed to
stream the Gameplay from the VIP Beta.
It is not, you will be forced to sign an NDA (as far as I've understood) which prohibits streaming, discussing outside of Beta forum, sharing screenshots etc).I hope its allowed to

It's called CET, Central European Time. It may be unique to you, but to over two hundred million people, it's not. And I really doubt the Dev Team just wants a "wide range of opponents to beat down". More than likely, they simply want people to play the game, gather data from those matches, and figure out balancing and gamebreaking issues, as well as give feedback.I speculate it maybe allows the Dev Team a wide range of opponents to beat down and test... that happen to all be AVAILABLE AT A UNIQUE TIME
