pacific time is GMT - 8, I'm in GMT + 1 so 0700 makes 1600 to me. It's OK to me, but the earlier the better to me. Will we use Valceiry-net or an IP-adress?
If we use an IP we'll first have to use ICQ or MSN

Val-net would probably be best. I'm going to see about having ICQ and MSN set up by this weekend too (since I don't have them working at the moment).

I expect I can start earlier than 7:00. :) (I can set an alarm if need be.) Whatever works for everyone else.

EDIT: Also, thanks for the GMT conversion. I'll file it in memory for future use.

EDIT: Preliminary tests show the empty NA provinces to be WAD, apparently. I've now got Alta California secession from Mexico working correctly, and I'll be posting fixed files on NA Group Yahoo after I take a look at USA ACW prestige. I'll put up a notice here when that happens.

I would like to use counters because I think that will be easier to control your army's, the gamespeed can be slow, not very slow, I tested yesterday and very slow takes very much time  and I forgot to think about summertime/wintertime, do you use that system in pacific time? Else I will have to recalculate

Can we also use the event changed by DR at this location (click) ? I would like to try it with Prussia :D
Can you also list which mods we will use for our game?

We us so-called "daylight saving time" and "standard time." Don't know how those translate into summertime/wintertime. (Translating from America to GMT has always confused me.)

Counters are fine with me, and slow speed is good.

I've copied this to my test files, and will take a look later today at how it differs from 0.2 (if at all), just to make sure we're not screwing anything up. Assuming everything is okay, I'll put it in one of the fix files we'll need to incorporate before starting the game.

I think X will want to use his new AIs, assuming he's released them before Saturday. Beyond that, we'll need to incorporate a few event files with fixes in them (so far, files for California and Mexico, and the ones that fix the Austria-Hungary flag). I'm not planning on using any mods other than those and VIP 0.2, in order to limit the chance of things not working right together. Is there another mod you'd like to try?

if it means that from the 2nd half of spring until the first half of autumn it is an hour later then in winter it's the same

Let me think a moment: The old saying here is "spring forward, fall back" meaning turn the clock ahead one hour in the spring and turn it back one hour in the fall, so it sounds to me like it's the same thing. :)

I've just tested it and it worked fine!

Anyway, it's too bad I can't play, but if you decide to do it at another time/date (probably not :( ) please PM me, as I would love to try this, as Unknown's AI's are great and it would be cool to see how Vicky goes in MP.

Will do. (We're still in the process of nailing down details like start time.)

Diplomatic pre-game message of Prussia

The kingdom of Prussia tells you by this message that we have no claims outside "Grossdeutschland". We will try to keep peace with all countries outside of this, but we expect other countries to stay away from claiming territories within "Grossdeutschland", because this will only lead to unnessecary wars. However we have no means by invading other countries, we will be ready to beat any opponent back to his capital if someone dares to attack us. In hope of a peaceful world,

The United States replies that it has no designs on Grossdeutschland, and hopes for good relations all around. USA will pursue its manifest destiny in the Western Hemisphere, and also reiterates the Monroe Doctrine. Hopes for peace are mutual, and we look forward to warm relations with the German people.

Czar Nikolai I of Russia welcomes such wise words from the chancellor of Prussia.
I guarantee that our future will be bright and peaceful.

Well, tech difficulties derailed this for today.

We found ourselves unable to change the game speed up or down at all in any way (keyboard or options). Has anyone experienced this before? (I suppose it could be germaine to VIP, but why would it affect MP when it doesn't happen in SP?)
