Please add icons on the map for visit sites. They could be tailored to show what the site does but at least some kind of mark would be nice to show that they are there.

If your worried about map clutter make it a toggle.

I agree, or better say, I'm not a fan of visit sites at all. For me it was the worst feature of AoW3. So I would appreciate an option to disable them as they seem to be really abundant in Planetfall and nearly anything else can be altered in game creation.

Btw. Thanks to developers for one of the best games I've ever played. :)

Zooming out in Economy View shows them, if you go to the abstraction layer.
Of course some marker if a bit more zoomed in might not be a bad idea.

If you zoom out your unit becomes deselected and as far as I'm aware it still doesn't show you that this site restores movement and this one boosts moral etc.

It does show that

Like the morale face on the icon there ? :p
Unforaunteyl, in that way there is no marker on the Charge Station at all.
Wich could well be the way more powerfull useable.

Maybe I'm being very unclear.

What I am asking for is an icon (like a pin or a flag) that shows what the visit site does on the map without having to click on it or hover over it to open a tool tip. So when I have an army selected (or maybe just a toggle setting on) a little icon (pin, flag etc) will show on the map above each visit site saying what it does.

It was like this in AoW3. You had to recognise the object to know what it was for. In practice you learned the shapes of those objects after a while, and then no extra icons would be necessary, and instead, they would clutter the map.

The advantage was, that you would often look at the miniatures themselves, rather than at an abstract symbol. I always loved the feeling of walking through the landscape instead of playing a move on a playing board.

As fun as that sounds and might be for you, I prefer Strategic Clarity. Also that is one reason he proposea toggle - so you can choose.
