Hi all,
So the suggestions sticky thread is going well. A bit too well, so it's filled with all kinds of suggestions now. But there are a few repeat offenders, and I'm wondering what suggestions people prioritize the most.
So here is a list of some suggestions (if you please, I'm not twisting your arm.
) to vote for ONE suggstion, the one that they like the most.
(The suggestions are listed in generalized form - If you have other suggestions you'd like to see on this list, maybe mention them in addition to adding a vote to the list, but let's try to keep it simple and short. If you have entirely different suggestions, then maybe you could start your own thread.)
(Also, I hope this thread isn't out of order somehow.)
Here goes:
1: Improved diplomacy.
- Mostly just making sure the AI is less of a screw-up with the diplomacy. It's too easy to get peace from the AI when you need it, and the AIs always seem to be at war with other AIs, making the game too easy as a whole.
2: Improved difficulty.
- While the above suggestion with improved diplomacy might help a bit, I'm mostly talking about adding one or two more difficulties. I don't think it's realistic that Ino-Co can simply improve the AI with some quick programming, so the improvements in difficulty would have to be achieved through giving the AI more advantages on higher difficulties, such as higher unit power and/or lower unit cost.
Additionally, a few added game options could alleviate this, such as the ability to set AI teams pre-game, an option that would not allow for you to ally AIs, or the like.
3: Campaign.
- This one speaks for itself, I hope.
4: Moddability.
- Even if it's just map-making or something simple. If Ino-Co are not willing/able to implement this, it would be nice to get a final word from them on it. (Reading the forum, I get the notion that no final word has been given, but I could be wrong.)
5: More races/units.
- This one also speaks for itself.
That's it for now. I'm afraid I haven't played any multiplayer yet (would love to, though), so this list sadly has no considerations in that direction.
My vote would have to go for number 2.
