A friend of mine just tried it and reported that the game always sends a request to his DSL-router instead of the VPN-LAN-adapter he has set up for just this purpose.

Is there a possibility of setting up a network game via a VPN tunnel without major modifications?

Is there a possibility of changing the required ports (for example by changing settings in config files) to make the game acept a VPN-tunnel?

Is it possible to reroute the IP-requests to another adapter?

Thx for any help with this problem.

The solution to your problems spells Hamachi :)

With this program you can tunnel through almost anything, with minimum effort. Happy tunneling ;)
