That happens for a first time to me – in this one particular war, game freezes when AI accepts a peace and cedes a province to me. It doesn’t crash if I sign a peace on any other terms. I tried to switch countries and sign a peace playing as my enemy, it didn't change anything, game stil freezes.

First check for this problem http://www.europa-universalis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=387866

If it's not that: is anyone else seeing this? Seems to me the kind of thing that would be well-known if it was happening to everyone by now.

Please run DXDIAG, Save All Info, and post dxdiag.txt here (first delete everything after the Sound Devices section so it will fit). Also post your Rome/settings.txt and Rome/logs/system.log files. Note that if you use Vista and have installed the game in the suggested folder c:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Rome\, the active versions of these last two files will have been redirected by Vista to a non-system directory, like c:\users\[name]\appdata\local\virtualstore\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Rome\. You may have to search your C: drive for them.

I checked my save game, it looks fine. Also my problem looks different - game doesn't freeze on any specific date, but always when AI accepts a peace proposal, no matter when it does. So maybe there is something wrong with my PC. When I have a possibility I will run this save game on other machine, and see if it still freezes.

Here goes DXdiag file

That all looks fine, but you might try changing multisampling=0 in your settings.txt. If still no good, I'd suggest a complete reinstall:

First move any valued save games elsewhere. Then uninstall both games, and then manually delete the game directory - this is important. Reinstall Rome - if you use Vista, it's best to choose a new directory like c:\games\rome instead of the suggested path. Then install VV from Gamers Gate over Rome (ie in the same directory), then apply the 2.2 patch over that same directory.

Unfortunately it didn't help. I've also checked that save game on other PC, it didn't work as well

OK, well all I can suggest is you post a link to the save game here and hopefully some nice person will look into it and see if there's some obvious glitch in there that can be edited out.
