The situation:
I'm at war with the Seleucid Empire. They are continually sending an army from Coele-Syria into Syria (which I own and have an army stationed in). I have a 9-martial general, they have an 8-martial general and are attacking over a river (and I've successfully invoked the blessing of Mars), so it is expected that they would suffer huge casualties while I take only a few.
However, every time they attack, neither of us take any casualties whatsoever. It looks like they have 0 morale and are just falling back as soon as the battle starts.
Relevant savegame has been attached.
