Always, always on Jan 28, 486. Nothing that I could possibly foresee is going on there, although I do have barbarians marching to Maedi they don't arrive until Feb 7. I have political map mode on, playing as Macedonia. I am playing a mod, but I was curious as to if this was a mod related problem or no.

I read the link, but I'm still a bit confused as to what to do. It crashes on its own, as I take no action, thus meaning I can't save and change the owner back to whatever country it was.

Edit: I opened up my savegame and found nothing with the tag 'no_culture_group' is there a different one I should look for inside the file? The save is on Jan. 1st, so should I make a save closer to the crash date and then look again?

Um, did you carefully read the link I posted? You look for and delete armies with NoCultureGroup, not No_Culture_Group. And post #12 says how to fix the problematic country entry.

Good Evening, I've got the exact same problem than gela, I've checked the latest autosave before the recurring crash and found a noculturegroup tag but infortunately I cannot access your link about how to fix it (I think it's because I don't have the specific game to which the thread is relatied), could you (or anyone else) paste here the fix for this bug ?

Thanks in advance,

You DO have the game the thread relates to, Rome/VV. I just clicked on the link above and it works fine, what exactly are you seeing? You can't copy'n'paste the link into a browser address field as you'll get the literal truncated string visible above
which of course is not valid. You need to click on that link or right-click and choose Copy Link Location and paste that.

Failing all else, go to the Bug Reports forum and you'll see the thread there, it's a sticky thread titled Why my VV2.1/2.2 game Froze - CHECK HERE FIRST, potential fix .
