First one is when a governor is leading his province's army, his portrait doesn't appear. This one is easy to reproduce.

Second one is not so much a bug as a "what the?" or "why is this possible?" sort of thing. I can understand a rebel faction propping up a false consul, but...I think the screenshot speaks for itself:

In a similar vein, the 474 bookmark for Aetolian League has a 10yr-old as their Strategos. The strategos of 279BC was Eurydamos (source, also see Polybius 9.35 and Pausanias 6.16.1 and 10.16.4--speaking of which, where are the Gauls in Greece?), though beyond that I don't think any further information on him is available. Somehow I doubt this kid managed to defend all of Greece from a massive Gallic invasion :p

And this last one was a bit interesting as well. I *think* this guy was imprisoned (he was both a foreigner and a populares, that's reason enough for me) while he was governor of a region. I sent him into exile and he wandered off to Colchis...but still retained control of the province? I was able to remove him and replace, but it was still a bit weird.

None of these bugs are particularly game-threatening, just little things that might need to be polished off.

Edit: just remembered another one, but I don't have a screenshot for it. I keep getting events firing for generals etc trying to push for their friends to be given governance of the "Italia" region, even though it's my capital region. I presume it's linked to this bug?

And one more thing, I don't think missions are working properly. When I fail a mission I don't get the stability hit like the mission description mouseover whatsit suggests. Unfortunately, I don't have a savegame or screenshot for this. I haven't checked whether the penalties for other failed missions have applied (like popularity hits etc), either.

You've stacked quite a nice collection here. Next time, if You may, please report about each bug in its own thread. It's easier for those who then categorise and submit them, it also avoids ambiguities.

So:

1. You attached troops to a region. While the governor actually granted a martial bonus to His troops, He wasn't displayed where leaders are. This one is already acknowledged, and soon to be fixed.

2. You have a beautiful young girl, aged three, who prides Herself of Her intelligence and leads the Roman rebel faction. That's an interesting sight.

Do You happen to have that savegame, so to check who and for which causes started the rebellion in Illyria.

3. As for Your ten years old being a Strategos: can You confirm that. "Strategos" is the equivalent for "General", or "Legate" - whereas "Archon" is the ruler's title. For a character to be a "Strategos" He needs to be older than eighteen.

As You may understand, it would be quite lengthy to start assigning historical generals, for most nations. For the moment at least, gameplay issues will be mostly addressed. The source You link was nonetheless an interesting read.

4. You seem to be playing as Rome, the fellow is Carthaginian - yet looks to be employed by Colchis. He bears the title "Satrap", which is not Roman - but governs Tarraconensis, in Iberia. Ubiquitous fellow. Moreover His location is actually listed as Phasis, in Colchis.

Again, a savegame would really help in reproducing the issue (the character's history, whether He now governs something else in Colchis, etc.) - it has nonetheless been reported.

Noted. Sorry, I thought it'd be tidier to keep it all in one thread, but I'll make sure to start a new thread for each issue in the future.

1. Correct, and cool :)

2. I don't have a savegame of that exact period, but I do have one from a couple of decades later. I'll attach it to the end of this post, it still has the details for the 3-year-old who dared defy Rome. I couldn't even justify it as her parents being the ones in real control and just propping her up as a symbol ("we're doing this for our children! Why won't anyone think of the children?"), but even her parents were still loyal to me...

3. Sorry, when I use "Strategos" I mean in the historical sense of the term: that is, it can denote both a general/legate as well as the elected leader of a league of Greek poleis. "Archon" would suggest the leader of a specific city, rather than a region. If you check EUR\history\countries\Aetolian League.txt, you'll see that the ruler is 310001 (Margos), who, according to his file, was born in 464.

I understand the issue of historical generals, it would be an epic task to even think about. I just thought it was an odd occurrance so I just want to suggest a more viable (and historic) alternative in the form of Eurydamos. I do agree that gameplay issues really need to be looked at first.

4. Yep, he's been around ;)
