So you want a GFX\map\units and GFX\palette that you can drop on top of the vanilla ones when compiling the mod? Should I supply the rest of the counter files as well, or are you including those yourself?

new version

Press Alt & F4 (or Ctrl, Alt & Delete) to take yourself back to the desktop and then press it again until you are brought back to HOI. You ought to have an error message - tell us what it says. :)

Are these mod problems or problems exclusive to your computer? My version doesn't go 'poummmm' (whatever that is), autosaves without difficulty and the tech pictures are fine.

feel free to email me the latest version as well (erhpdm@yahoo.com) ... will have some free time over xmas and it can not be better spent trying out the new module :)

Should one expect a another update for 1.0 or should one just install it now?

Install and try this version, and then download the public version when I release it, as I suspect that the installation process will probably change in the next few days, not to mention a few important game details. :)

Yes. :)

It's probably safest if you supply the counters. :)

Judging from the above posts, the fighter sprites(or at least enente fighters) are supposed to be not working. They are replaced by large xs of varing colors. That aside, my run thru as the germans was error free. Indeed, it was the most stable HoI experiene I have had in weeks.

An example of what I saw:

Removed image tag due to possible spoilers.

Edit2: The advanced crusier has a range of 120,000 km/miles. Am I right in thinking that it should be 12,000 km/miles?

Yes, that's the fighter problem I was talking about previously. If all goes well, that shouldn't be happening in the next version.

During my second game as Germany, I had finished off the contenential powers, and GB chooses to fight on. I ready an invasion fleet. My landings are almost unopposed(~12 empire divisions vs ~70 german divs). I have occupied all of Britain. I also took Ireland, liberatred it, and then it joined the entenet( ). But the problem is that the surrendure event won't fire and I don't see why. All the others have and the code says nothing about being allied to the US(which they are). Any help would be appreciated.

Oh, and I allied with afganistan and rebel indians. THe brits have been expelled from India excluding Burma.

I haven't had too much of a chance to play it yet,but here's what I've got so far:

Once the French and Germans get into static positions, they just sit there and build up.In my current game it is 1919.The Frence have 300+ divisions, the Germans have 400+ divisions. Both sides are just sitting there...and building up.Now this is the first 1.0 game I've played,so this might be a freak accident.

Both manpower vs. Firepower doctrines are not showing their benefits when you put the cursor over it.

When/if I find more I'll post it.

That might be because their commands are bugged and have been so for the last few versions...

Oh, BTW. During my testing, France was showing an excessive tendency to garrison Caen. They had 17 divisions just sitting there while the germans attacked the 3-4 division stacks at the border.

In my game as Austria-Hungary the germans have been able to push the french and russians back. It's only 1914-1915 so it might be a bit too early to say.

And are the any benefits to those Manpower vs. Firepower and vice versa?

I'm not sure if this is repaired in 1.0, but at least in 1.05b when the GB surrender event fired Nepal and Bhutan continued fighting.

Working as designed. If Britain chooses to go on with the war, it's a fight to the death.

I'll just make units more expensive so that the AI kills each other more. Then the AI will have less divisions to handle and will be able to use them.

Bugged for ages. No one suggested how to fix it so I left it broken.

All French AIs state the following:

Code:
				531 = -1 # Caen

Oh well, if it's fucked, it's fucked.

Yeah it's fixed.

Good, then I have the time to point out that 1.0 was supposed to contain a new soundtrack aswell.

I'm not going to include it because it's a waste of space. If we ever get our own server, then the music will probably be carried forward for use in the next version.

For HOI II, that is.

Game II:

Germany and Austria-Hungary kicked the living crap out of the Allies by 1917.France and Russia have been taken out rather easily.I'm playing as Brazil,so I can watch the AI run the show in Europe.
