Beta Oct 17 - The disappearing Tower of Pisa

I currently did a clean reload of the game, the 1.04a patch, and the Oct17 beta patch. So, I started a game with the Republic of Pisa, 1066 era. Played about two years, game time. Saved the game in two seperate files. Exited the game. A day in RL passes...

So, I go to play the game this morning a little before going to work, and I click on my saved game (called Republic of Pisa, handily enough), I scroll through the Ducal titles, and Pisa is gone! I mean, totally gone. As far as I can tell, all the sother provinces are there, but not Pisa (the one which I had played the day before). I found the same situation in the other save file I made.

Just to check, I click the 1066 scenario button and find Pisa. I click again on my saved game, and don't see Pisa. So, I pick Apuila as my title, just to see if Pisa is still there in the game. It is. I even click on the Pisa shield in-game and find my original character and the woman I had him marry.

What gives?

You can't play Republics in this game. They're listed internally as a Kingdom, so they're playable from the start, but you can't resume them in a savegame.

Yep, as Pisa used to be a duchy in 1.04a and before, it's obviously remained around when it's not supposed to have been.
