First of all this is not a very informative way to post bugs, it would be better if you had instead given a brief summary (copy/paste would have been enough) of the problem in addition to the link.

But to the actual issue, I'm not quite sure it's a bug. Aren't there special events that trigger only if a province is heretic, so instead of having direct effects it might act as a flag for future effects.

What might be a bug is it's ability to spread from a Moslim to a Christian province. Is there an easy way to fix it by the event commands we have? Should herecy even be confined to Catholics, did other's have problems with that?

here the explanation:
ORIGINAL QUESTION: which is the sense of heresy spread in provinces? Some of my provinces are now heretic (the heresy came up around Baghdad, but it spreads with no limitations in christian provinces), but I can't see any effect. Does someone know?

Probable BUG found:
So i've found soemething about this in the provinceeffects.txt:

}
...
It's an provinceeffect like rich, prosperous or poor, but it has, as you can see, no effect.
Perhaps this feature is not really implemented since now!?

So it seems that the bug is in the eventfile: the effects braces are empty.
 
WAD: Heretic is an effect on province which will trigger events with effect on characters.
