On the subject of culture in the Low Countries: "Wallonian" does not exist. The correct term is "Walloon". "Wallonia" refers to the territory of the Walloons, in the same way Czechia refers to the territory of the Czechs. (Walloon-ia => Wallonia, Czech-ia => Czechia).

The word is wrong in both the French and the Spanish localisations as well, where both are using the respective words for the name of the region instead of the culture ("Wallone" (FR) and Valona (ESP) both mean Wallonia, not Walloon). The only correct localisation is "Wallonisch" in German.

Some sources:
Walloons, Walloon language, Wallon, Valón, Wallonish, Walloon culture, Walloon parliament, etc etc (you get the idea).

Corrected code:

Code:
Europa Universalis IV\localisation\text_l_english.yml (1 hit)
    Line 385: wallonian:0 "Walloon"

Europa Universalis IV\localisation\text_l_french.yml (1 hit)
    Line 382: wallonian:0 "Wallon"

Europa Universalis IV\localisation\text_l_german.yml (1 hit)
    Line 385: wallonian:0 "Wallonisch"

Europa Universalis IV\localisation\text_l_spanish.yml (1 hit)
    Line 324: wallonian:0 "Valón"

Europa Universalis IV\localisation\areas_regions_l_english.yml (1 hit)
    Line 49: wallonia_area_adj:0 "Walloon"

I hate feeling like I'm begging for attention, but there have been two patches since I've last raised the issue. Since we've got another patch coming up relative soon, I feel this is an ideal time to try to bring it to attention once more. Because, really, 'Wallonian' is as wrong as Welshian, Normanian or Swedishic would be.

So, uhm, without wanting to be aggressive or demanding, and with the greatest respect, could there be confirmation that it's been noticed? It's literally just five lines of localisation code. :)

For more reference, flavour events are already using the correct words:

flavor_swe.EVTNAME3227:0 "The Walloons in Sweden"

flavor_swe.EVTDESC3227:0 "In 1614, the Walloon entrepreneur Louis de Geer set up shop in Sweden and undertook the development of the iron ore mining and foundries in northern Sweden. For some time already, Walloon craftsmen from the Hainaut, Brabant and Luxemburg regions had been fleeing unemployment and immigrated to Sweden. The influx of master metal workers and ore refiners vitalized the industry and led to a massive improvement in steel quality - a major advantage in weapons manufacture. In a few decades, Sweden became a major exporter of steel and cannon as well as copper and iron."

flavor_swe.EVTOPTA3227:0 "Encourage Walloon immigration"

It's just the culture names that need to follow suit.
