If you're not playing this awesome game in MP you are really missing out. Heres is a screenie from the Aussie Groups 7 player game.

The teams are:

Axis: Germany, Japan, Italy and Nationalist Spain
Aliies: UK, USA and USSR

As you can see axis are well on top because of early Allied losses in a botched invasion of Spain in 1939 and a lightning campaign by Spain and Italy in North Africa. Advances in Russia have been steady with Russia struggling to counter Germanies Turbojet fighters and bombers. Japan is holding the US navy barely but there have been large carrier battles. Going into 1944 it looks like USSR is on the brink of destruction with UK and USA desperate to land somewhere in Europe to take the pressure off. Now can you get that vs the AI?

 
What are the Soviets using for oil these days? Looks like most of their supply is gone. Or are they down to just infantry?

I guess the US is sending oil and supplies

Normally you can build up sufficient supplies to cope without any incoming oil for quite some time.

Add to that the not insignificant other oil resources the Soviets have, plus conversion methods, and you can still keep yourself going for quite a while.

Hopefully the other Aussie Group game going with myself as the Soviets will look a little worse for the Axis than this one come 44... :)

USSR has been reduced to 220 useable IC. He has roughly 270 Infantry and 50 armoured divisions. However his tech/upgrades lag about 1.5 years behind the axis. Whilst we have panthers he has Mark IIIs whilst we are using 1943 inf he has 1941. :)
 
Looks like the American player has to wake up a bit, if he still hasn't landed anywhere in Europe, and he's still being hampered down by Japan.

But looks like a great game! :D You can tell the British player is trying hard, but the German player is VERY good.
 
Awesome! Can't wait till 2-3 of my friends get the game.

I predict that the axis will win. If they can just knock out the Sovs, it's over.

Germany: 330 divs 240 Inf 60 Arm 30 Garrison
USSR: 320 Divs 220 Inf 50 Arm
USA: 240 Divs 50 Inf 100 Mot 50 Arm 20 Mar 20 Gar
Italy: 190 Divs 150 Inf 10 Arm 10 Mtn 20 Gar
Japan 140 Divs 80 Inf 40 Mtn 20 Gar
UK 130 Divs 100 Inf 20 Mar 10 Arm
Spain 90 Dis 70 Inf 10 Arm 10 Gar

Germany has no navy other then a few DDs nor does USSR. Italy hasabout 20 subs left but lost abot 60 ships in sinking the RN. Uk is reduced to 1 CV ad about 5 small ships. Spain has 12 ships but nothing modern. Japan hs 11 CVs left and has lost 9, USA has 16 CVs and has lost 11. USA navy is about 200 ships and Japans is about 150.

Not really.

I beat the same guy in 1.3, whilst he was Germany and I was SU, within a year. Keep in mind, ofcourse, that I was simultaneously being attacked by Italy in the Caucasus, and Japan in Siberia, and thus only had half my army in Western Russia.
