Want to make a Font Size Mod but need help

So.... I'm a big fan of Europa Universalis. After several years I've decided that I'd like to try the Crusades.

My only issue thus far is the font size.

Rather than just complain about it like I have in the past I've decided that I'd like to do something about it- make a mod which increases the font size for text for this game.

I don't have really any experience with this kind of stuff though I did help create some new ideas for a handful of AGCEEP events but that's about it. Plus my computer skills aren't too great.

Still, that's not going to hold me back.


Anyway, if anyone has any tips or especially, if they'd like to help in the creation of this mod then please, please, let me know!

Also, if this mod comes together well I may do a font size mod for EU3 as well. Keep your fingers crossed!

Say, I'm trying to open

.eu files,

.sct files,

.act files,

and...

.bmp files, to get an idea of how modding works.


What programs do I need to use to open them?

bmp-files can be opened with any graphic program, like f.e. Paint.

The other files, I have no idea.
