War of Independence Bug - Pikemen Make Appearance

I was playing the War of Independence scenario, and I was building my armies. Then in the late 1780s I noticed that in two provinces Pikemen showed up as the graphic for the infantry.

Is this a bug? It only happened in a couple of provinces. Or is this related to the level of development within the province itself?

This scenario was fun to play - a great one for newbies to play since there is only one enemy - Britain - and you can focus on building armies and battles.

I had that in the GC too - one province produced 'pikemen'. But only the graphic, I think, they did fight well. So I consider it as a (very minor) bug, too minor for Hartmann´s famous list

Yes, it's an excellent game. Because it's so complex, all it really needs is a bit of tweeking here and there.
