Initially, I played the War of Independence scenario as the Americans and I lost - but the game and scenario worked fine.

Then I switched over and played as the British. Well, I whopped those upstart colonials. Whenever the Americans offered a peace treaty, I refused. I eventually took over all the 13 colonies. Just as my troops were about to occupy the last American province, the game crashed to desktop.

I tried to re-load the autosave file but the game kept crashing. Normally the game is stable (for me at least). So I guess the AI had fits running around in tight circles unable to build anything.

Anyway, I won this scenario easily. I was at 85% before it crashed. However, it shouldn't be crashing like this; instead, if I capture all of the provinces a victory screen should appear.

I kept the autosave files. If anyone at Paradox wants to examine them to fix this scenario, I will be happy to send them to you.

Conversely I had no problems playing the English in the WoI scenario but have now experienced 3 crashes to desktop while playing the US side. This is upsetting considering that none of my GC or Fantasia games have ever crashed even once.

All the crashes have occurred after signing an initial peace treaty, joining the French alliance and being brought back into the war on a French DoW. Once I had again signed a separate peace again with the Brits but the other times I had still been fighting for extra territory. The crash appears to occur at the point that France and England make peace.
