Rules

Please note that these rules were previously used with EU4 and they are most certainly likely to change as we all discover more about the game.

- If a player rage quits during a war, any peace can be enacted. After that, a new perm will be searched for.
- Rage-quitters are banned from warring walruses campaigns, typically for 1 whole campaign.
- Players who do not attend two times in a row without the ability to come up with their own sub will be removed from the current campaign.
- Find your own substitutes. I guarantee absolutely nothing.
-Remember that although this is a game, leaving just because things don't necessarily go your way is un-sportsman like. Try your best to stay interested, and keep optimistic. If things really look damp, you can replace another nation.

-No new players taking on relevant AI spots without the neighbouring players' permission.
-Any large form of exploiting is illegal. The Game-master reserves the right of definition on what is or isn't an exploit.

-When a person asks for terms, you may demand terms under 100% and if they refuse you may continue the war for another year. You may fight while terms are discussed. Terms must be delivered quickly. If a person believes this is taking too long, they may pause the game and for the GM to yell at them.
- Annexing players is allowed.
- Peacing players through AI war leaders is strictly forbidden without player consent.
- Force-Peacing is forbidden until at least 1 year of the conflict has passed.
- No selling planets as part of a peace-deal.
- Two players separate warring the same country with apparent cooperation can only demand a peace of 100% in between the two of them.
-War Allies have to agree to a losing peace. This means players may only surrender if their entire war-party agrees.

Sign up requirements:

  • You must be able to play two speed. We have American and EU hosts with fast internet connection.

Please post your Steam link if you wish to apply. No nation information is required, however it is recommended that you show off your design.

The Flonkey, are a practical, but intelligent and above all curious species. They are proud, and even though their wings only allow them to hover a couple of meters above the ground, they like to think that they can fly.

Just to be sure, because timezones confuse me. European time (Amsterdam) this would be 10:30 in the morning, correct? I'm not quite willing to give my saturday night's up for a game, so I'm hoping it is indeed in the morning!

Will post detailed empire information later when I'm home.

PS:

I'm glad the rules tell me to stay during the 1700's in the game, that's the best timeperiod for spaceships and alian invastions ;) (seems to me the rules are straight-up copied from EU4)
Haha, I was a bit tired when I edited the rules.

Favourite part when I read back was,

"Please note that these rules were previously used with EU4 and they are most certainly likely to change as we all discover more about the GM."

Here's a list of the start date in 5 different time zones to clear things up.

The long-lived members Turtellian Shell have a culture in which every member aims to achieve the greatest thing they can for the Shell, rank within the Shell's Church being dictated by personal achievement. Due to this; the Turtellians are highly competitive within their own society; hence their Fanatic Individualism and intelligence. The only thing that binds the Turtellians together is their Religion; which in itself encourages personal perfection, and in earth-terms is closest to a form of Buddhism, while also giving them ethical codes for their competition; such as not harming other Turtellians; even if doing so would elevate your own position.

Due to their obsessive self-improvement and competition, they do not really care either way about war or other species. They are alright with competing with other species as well, but it is not their focus.

I probobly won't be trying to win, I'll more be roleplaying.

LORE: The planet of Otigur housed many different civilizations and species throughout time, and one of those were the Tendras - a bear-like mammal species that had experienced a great event in their modern era that has liberated them from their individual needs and brought them forward to glory. An ambitious biologist known today only as "The Great" has developed an epidemic that causes fungus to grow around the patient's brain and thus takes control of it, and allows the patient to accept The Great's righteous place as his emperor. The followers of The Great named themselves "Tendra-Zuhn" (which literally translates to 'infected Tendras'). After a short time the Tendra-Zuhns took control over the entire planet.
However, there is one thing the Tendra-Zuhns didn't anticipate: the fungus that their brains housed had its own DNA, and thus had eventually mutated and evolved. The fungus grew out of the Tendra-Zuhn's brains and encircled their bodies with tentacles acting as additional limbs. The tentacles, of course, had to be controlled from the Tendra's brain and since tentacles are new to these organisms, the brain was put under heavy pressure while adapting to this which eventually caused serious brain damage in areas that encourage free thought and individualism - they didn't need them anyway, did they?
Ws' evolutionhile the Tendra-Zuhns adapted their brains to the fungu many of them couldn't complete simple living tasks such as mining or sowing crops, so they used healthy Tendras as slaves. After a few generations they finally managed to adapt, but the slavery became an integral part of their life and culture, so they started enslaving fellow Tendra-Zuhns after the last healthy Tendra has perished.

Now the Tendra-Zuhns look to their emperor, who looks up to the cosmos to seek more glory (and more importantly, more slaves). He named his empire the Dominion of Otara, after their home solar system. He seeks expansion and interstellar glory.

That's a good idea. I should have done that.
fuck
It's alright, excluding FTL method we can swap Weapon systems immediately anyway. I'm starting with Missiles but when you come loaded up with PDD's and then my lasers rip you a new one. You'll feel a bit silly xD

Or you have what happened to me happen.

Start with projectiles; get no projectile weapon research but get ALL THE LASERS.

Current result: Mass UV Lasers.

Some of this might be due to my starting physics guy having particles bonus.

Jesus, Three of you effectively running the same nation.
Not me - I'm unique.
I want to be the dark side of the galaxy

How do you post a screenshot?
Press F12 during gameplay, then go to your Stellaris local files and you'll find the screenshot in there. Edit it with paint and upload into imgur or whatever website you'd like. Then copy the image's URL and paste it in here using the post image function.

By the way, Civ 6 is cooking. Anyone else is not excited?
