OK, I'm playing 1.05 off a vanilla install.

I noticed that my events log was scrolling really fast (I have the game on normal speed). I paused the game and saw that each day of the month, anywhere from 2-3 wars were being declared. OK, maybe, but seems odd.

The game year is now 1085. Byzantines are gone, Hungary is gone, Croatia is gone, Germany is gone, England is gone, Sweden is gone, Fatimids are gone, Seljuks are gone.

Now I've seen realms self destruct, but WHOA! Almost every kingdom in the game has self destructed via wars with vassals or wars with pagans. Tribe of Cumans controls the entire Holy Land. Mecklenburg controls Denmark. The rest of the world are just Ducal level realms and smaller - the kingdoms were destroyed by infighting.

Methinks that a tweak went a bit far in how fast things declare war, or how the AI handles wars. I'm playing Country of Rashka and watched Croatia go to war against one of the Sicily provinces, march it's armies away and have it's provinces conquered. Croatia is now 1 province in Sicily while the old lands are all now various muslim rulers.

Is this WAD or bug?

What difficulty and agression levels are you playing on? That doesn't sound like the usual experience of what you'd except in CK 1.05.

Sorry for the interruption but could you post the saved file, please? I would like to see it. It is not everyday that i see mighty empires disapearing in only 19 years. ;)

Hmmm. Well, being one of those luddites, I don't keep bunches of saved games - only 1 copy. It's now 1108, and things are getting back to normal, although there are lots and lots of independent counts. Just put your game on Furious aggression - you'll see it happen.

I usually play 1.05 in Normal/Normal, but the few times i played Very Hard/Furious, such things never hapened... Byzantium disapearing is possible but such a thing hapening to england as well, specially in only 19 years, i never saw... But yeah, i have seen some countries marching with all of their armies overseas and then their homeland getting conquered by their enemies... such was the fate of venice on my game... venice now controls most part of algeria, but lost every province in europe :p
