The file is where it supposed to be so I am assuming this is a language related problem. Different types of windows settings, keyboard layouts, whatever. Probably what u are running has no "ü"
You can change the letter in the file but than u also have to change the routing to it and there might be other files with different unrecognized letters. Maybe just get a language pack that recognizes these instead?

It's possible. I'll try it.
 
I don't know what the name WATKABOI means, but this mod should be called WATKABUG.
In just ten minutes of playing and looking into the countries.txt and revolts.txt I faced a pleroma of bugs, mistakes and typos.

What I can remember now:
  • A dozen errors with leader IDs when starting the 1419 scenario. ID duplicates.
  • At least one country has no name in the game. Only abbreviation (three letters) is shown. I saw it in the early scenarios. I don't remember the countryname, but it starts with the letter K.
  • In 1337 many Russian principalities have no cores on their own provinces. As do Moldavia (one core is missing, but even Wallachia has it). The cores of Moldavia and Wallachia in 1419 mirror their cores in 1337, but are directly opposite. Some other countries have the same problem.
  • Ukraine in 1337 is an anachronism.
  • navy = OHI in the countries.txt.
  • Senoufo and Southern Min data are messed up in the countries.txt and revolts.txt. The revolts.txt states that SOU is Senoufo, but it has the Southern Ming shield. The countries states that SFU is Senoufo and the revolts.txt doesn't have SFU and SFU has no shields. In the countries.csv SOU has the name "Southern Ming" and there are no SFU. Thus the mod creates Southern Ming in Africa, lol.
  • There is the caribbean natives type in the natives.txt, but it is not used anywhere in the geography.txt.
  • There is a mistake in line 206 of the rebels.txt that causes an error message when loading the game. It is "area = america", but should be continent = america or region = "North America".
And I didn't even turn off pause.
I am even afraid to check this mod with the Validator.
And yes. I had the same problem with special symbols in filenames as user Aleppo. So I had to rename several files after many attempts to run it again and again (looking for which files).
As an advertisement this is excellent. As a mod this is hardly playable.

Alfonso V, why did you add the "empty" goods instead of using the default "nothing"? I'm asking you because I'm a modder too and maybe I would need to do the same if I knew what the reasons are.
