cause we haven an OE, if both are played it will not be balanced, nor did it ever has been tested in MP
 
i know. i am currently looking for someone who wants to play it. the problem with byzantium is it will lack leaders, events and other things later on. just like poland has after 1750.
 
well i just got a message of darkdeath, he cant play on thursday, does any of you have problems with wednesday?

At least this wednesday...further on I should be able.
 
Wednesdays are okay with me.
 
It would be fun with byz instead of a ottoman, if only for the religious landspace it would create.

It would not only be fun, but perhaps it would be so much more balanced. And OE can go to India, Byz can not (or, not as easily).

Then I say we give Byz to TC Pilot, we can just copy-paste the monarchfile from another country when all his historical monarchs die off.
 
then we still have to fill russia (and possible france)

Well, I noticed in the last game that Italy had the same leader for something like 50 years, so I wonder if that's even neccesary.

EDIT - Yeah, from the look of things, Byzantium has monarchs all the way through to the end, though no leaders after 1453. It's really martmol's call. If Byzantium's not permissable, I'll take France.

Instead of having to fill the Ottoman Empire and France/Russia?

My preferences are:

1. Byzantium
2. France
3. Russia

It's your call. If you don't think a Byzantine player is acceptable, I'll accept that.
 
Ok, so who can play thursday or wednesday? I can play either day, but there seems to be a lot of confusion right now.

Austria : lurken
Muscowy/Russia:
Ottoman Empire/byz: ?????
Brandenburg : mungo
Castile/Spain: monkii
Venice/Italy: aladar
sweden: wari (Cant play till february, nelson agreed to sub for that time)

reasons i am against byz is alexandria, it wil lbe venetians playground for ages.

good news: darkdeath can play on thursdays! so all we need now is a russia
