I am currently playing as the hellenic Roman emperor, and reaching the vassal limit, i've decided to start using king-vassals (Consuls) in the roman provinces. However, the king vassals use their own King's Peace law, instead of the emperor's, and as such they can declare all the wars they like.

How would i go about preventing this? Things i can think of are either somehow making the Kings Peace law non-available for king-vassals, or editing the CB's to make them unavailable as long as you're a vassal and the top liege has Total King's peace. The problem with this, however, is i have no idea on how i could do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If this is similar to vanilla, the problem is that King's Peace is a crown law. That means only de jure vassals are obliged to obey it.

But it sounds like these king vassals should not have their King's Peace, unless they are not de jure part of your empire.

Is that not only applicable to non-king vassals though? I was of the understanding that crown-laws, regardless of dejure empire status, would be available to any king, vassal or not. Kinda like "overriding" the empire crown laws.

EDIT: Nevermind, it seems you are right. I will be adding the roman provinces to the dejure roman empire manually for now, as a temporary solution. Thanks!
