Question to more experienced modders:
Is there a way to create a new service?

As far as I understand services (power, water, sewage, police, and so on) will affect one of the four happiness parameters that influence your citizens.
So, to create a new service would be easy if there is a way to hook a specific sort of happiness influence to a building.
I just bought the game so I will be debugging it a while to see how it works (that modtools term seems really good to do that, thanks to the modder for that). But, perhaps, some experience modder will be so kind to help me out, first, correcting me if I understood it all wrong, and second, pointing me to someone, or some thread in this forum, steam or wherever else, where people are already trying to do what I am trying to achieve.

I want to create a couple of new services for the game:
1) Radio and TV (would increase residential happiness)
Buildings: Radio Station - TV Station - TV Studio - Radio and TV Antenna
Antenna would be the building that provides coverage. Other buildings would just expand Antenna coverage areas. No Radio Station or TV Station buildings = zero coverage...

2) Telephony and Internet Service (would increase commercial happiness)
Buildings: Telco exchange - Telco box - payphones - cabling
Would work mostly the same way as water service does.
Cabling would work the same way it works for the power service. Adjacent buildings would be able to work as network connectors, again as they work for the power service.
Telco exchange would be the main building, as water pumps for water service, telco boxes would work as water towers do, expanding the reach of service area.

3) Cellphone and Mobile Internet (would increase office happiness)
Same way as Radio and TV service.

At least, if anyone knows how services work and which hooks may be used I can try to do some scripting to implement those service ideas I have.

I have decades modding other games, and I am pretty good with low poly 3d modelling, textures and some LUA scripting. So, I guess I can learn how to mod C:S, too, if any masters can help this humble apprentice on taking his first steps.
