It's nice to see that German and Italian were finally balkanized as cultures, but France remains with the same three cultures it had in CKII: French, Occitan, and later Norman (and Outremer, but that's beside the point). For as weak as the French crown's authority was compared to that of its neighbors, and just that all of France's neighbors have had their cultures divided into larger regional divisions, I think, at the very least, an Arpitan/Franco-Provencal culture should be added (in part to represent how the territory Kingdom of Arles/Burgundy was not held by the Kingdom of France for much of the game and there were multiple proposals to reconstruct the Kingdom of Arles, and simply because Franco-Provencal is neither d'Oil or d'Oc).
I would further advocate for a Poitevin culture as it is about as distinct as Norman (and it would avoid the bordergore between French/Occitan that Poitou has now), as well Picard and Lorrain (which, for simplicity's sake, I would group Walloonian in with), and a Flemish culture instead of the current French-Franconian division along HRE borders.
