Before this gets out of hand we need to organize a few of our threads, and see that they get stickied. So um SykoNurse if your out there...

We have a release thread, which I think we should use for news about release updates, patches that might need to be installed, etc. Needs to be stickied.

We have an installation? thread, which I would like to also keep around for questions pertaining to installation only. Also needs to be stickied.

The HOI:TGW version 1.00b thread, needs to be stickied and closed. I would like to see a thread that is basically would have a link to the latest version, preferably started (the stickied and closed) by Stephen, since he is the one compiling the mod.

And we have a 'three cheers and bugs' thread (Which really needs to be changed to: Bugs for v1.00b, so we can have seperate bug threads for each version. Will hopefully keep it clean and tidy to find information easily.)
 
Since the page and the download are located on my server, it might be better if I had access to the stickied thread, so it could be updated easier...

Other than that, I agree.

There are 9 stickies now. Given the fact that nobody ever reads stickies unless forced by evöl moderators and forum bullies, we should reduce that a little. Metathread springs to mind, that worked for CORE. ;) *wink*
 
That's a good point. What we need to do is to replace the 'installation', 'release', and 'FAQ' threads with a single unified thread.

This would have the link to the current download, the FAQ, and the installation/readme instructions in a single, stuck thread.
