Hi! I'm playing Stellaris and I have some problem that I couldn't find a solution to on Steam.
I downloaded the licensed version of the game on Steam, and also bought the Overlord add-on, which will be discussed. The fact is that this add-on is marked in the launcher as "We were unable to confirm ownership of this add-on", although it was purchased on Steam and is displayed there in the game library.
Also, for some reason unknown to me, the launcher displays the DLC "MegaCorp" with the same problem. However, I have never bought or downloaded it on third-party "pirated" resources.
However, I would like to use the Overlord add-on for my next game, since I paid for it, please tell me how to fix it. I am ready to provide any information, I also attach screenshots.
P.S. I used a translator because I do not speak English at the proper level. I apologize for possible translation errors.

might be a regional issues, what country are you playing from?

Please do a full **clean** re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere, and user empire designs.txt from /Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/ if you have made any custom empires or races.
- "uninstall" in Steam-Stellaris
- manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/Stellaris AND Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris folders
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- add stellaris.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.
- start the game with no mods active and test

In particular you need to make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam Stellaris or Documents Stellaris locations, before installing again.

So I tried all of this and deleting the signature file but it did not work. I am not having this problem through Steam or GOG though. I'm just trying to use it through the Paradox Launcher I grabbed off the website. I do own the DLC through Steam but I know that as long as your account it connected you also get them on Paradox directly. I'm having problems with Overlord and the Arachnid portraits not verifying. Any ideas?

This game is no longer supported on the standalone Paradox Launcher platform. So only old game versions and DLCs show there.

You'll need to play it from the Steam client from now on. Is it all okay in there?
