Weaker archer option not working?

Hello.

I have played this game for a few days now and I was wondering why the archer were still very strong even though I had checked the weaker archer option the first in my first few hours of playing this game.
And to my surprise when I went back to check the option, the weaker archer option was unchecked.
I tried to check it again, save my game and exit from the game completely and restart it but for some reason it doesn't seem to save that option.
I tried check it then restart a new campaign, save and restart the game but it didn't work as well.
Every other options seems to save correctly.

I then tried to make a new profile and check the weaker archer option again then restart but it didn't help and the option was still unchecked after restarting the game.

Finally I went to the check the registry trying to check the option myself there but I couldn't see any line mentioning weaker archer option in it, every other options were listed. (I did find 1 line that wasn't in english saying IjaszGyengites but i have no clue what it means)

And now I ran out of idea on how to make it work

Did anyone else have this issue ? And if you did, how did you fix it please?

Apparently IjaszGyengites must mean weaker archer I just put the value 1 next to it, in the registry and when I restarted the game, the weaker archer option was finally checked. Putting zero next to it, disables the option again.
Now I wonder why my game doesn't save that option only when using the proper option menu.
