I built a weapon/combat balance mod that I used to play with (which was eventually incorporated into another mod - don zappos old mod) last winter. I've been away from the game since then and have picked it back up with the expansions. Unfortunately I find it borderline unplayable with the atrocious stock weapon balance (I can't believe PPCs are still useless stock!).

Are there any popular Weapon/combat balance mods out here? Battletech extended looks impressive, but I'd rather start with a more stock game that just has modded weapon balance, combat balance (better evasion, lower accuracy, nerfed precision shot, etc) and AI.

For reference this was my old mod:

[mod edit: no unapproved links]

I may just end up updating that one if I have some time over the holidays... but I'm lazy and would love to check out anything similar others have developed ;-)
