I have been completing some quests in chapter 2 and I am getting weapon recipies, but I'm not sure how to use them.

I assume it has something to do with the forge, but dont see what I need to make them.

Thanks for any insight.

To see the list of Recipes you currently know, go to the Chronicle window (under Military Advancement on your Campaign side-bar) and go to the Recipes tab. There it will display all the Recipes, and under each one, their statistics and what exactly you need to craft them at an Artifact Forge.

Happy forging!

ahhh... thanks for the help.

The chronicle is oging to be much more important in this game than the last one I think.

Also, in chapter two I closed the first gate and the province I got has 4 locations that are infested.

They all say +500 gold and an articfact at first claiming, or somehting like that. Do I just go to each location to get the gold and artifact?

Thanks.

As soon as you take control of the province, you get those bonuses.

I just tested it now, and, as soon as the building says Owner: King Arthur, you'll have all the money go straight to you, and the artifacts will go straight to your Artifact Forges. You can check them by selecting the Forge and clicking on the Open Artifact Forge button in the bottom window.

Thanks. Don't have to waste time visiting each one now!

Will have to check out the forge soon to see what I got. Seems like minor items are not that useful as I have an abundance of major items already.

As far as forging you have to give up a lot to get one item. three things to get 1? Seems like a rip. Does type have anyhting to do with quality of the new item?

For example, if I want to create a new sword, can I use a minor sword and then two awesome shild/weapons/armor whatever as my primary and secondary and still get an awesome sword?

Or do I need to use an awesome sword in the type box to get an awesome sword?

Thanks for the help.

I tend to think of it in terms of; you're using two items to improve one you already have. The glass is half-full :p

Does type have anything to do with quality of the new item?

I don't believe so, I always put a Minor artifact in type, anything more is a waste. Primary is where you really want to put the best of the three items, the one with the stats you most want your product to resemble. Same principle for the Secondary, but it's less important, obviously.

I'd be putting all this in the wiki, but my external hard drive just died, so I really, really couldn't be arsed right now. Have pity on me.
