French AAR 1603 - 1622
The possibility of a new peaceful and more respectful Europe was arriving… The Polish Revolution was followed by a coup and the assassination of the former leader of Polish Kingdom, the Devil of Europe and leader of the axis of evil. Without his master, Austria also entered in a process of anarchy and Vienna is still trying to find his place in the world. Peace and harmony was now possible.
However, after centuries of hate and unjustified blood, some European nations from the good side still thought that Poland should pay the price of the murder of innocents.
France wasn’t on this side. France believed that finally some kind of diplomacy could be made between Warsaw and Paris. But, Poland was still hurt. Despite the new leader wanted peace with France, public opinion still was being influenced by evil propaganda made by the former (evil) leader and more than 60% of Polish people believed that French people eat little children as breakfast!!
The new leader needed public support and nothing can get more supporters than start a patriot war. Poland attacked Madjapat, an old Kingdom in Indonesia, obviously provoking France, since everyone knows that west Indonesia is in under French sphere of influence.
The French King then politely asked to the Polish King to peace Madjapat. After around 3 months we sent another diplomat requesting that Poland peace Madjapat. After one week the diplomat back to Paris with the following answer: “Ok, we’ll peace then”. 2 days later we received the news that Poland has annexed Madjapat.
That was, indeed, an outrage! At the same time, Denmark and Russia were planning an attack against Poland as revenge and all friends in Scandinavia asked for our help… Despite war wasn’t on our plans, we couldn’t deny to help a friend.
War was declared and soon the principal polish-german cities were taken, including Berlin. At the same time, in the New World French launch successful offensives in South Africa, Indonesia and Far East. Java was completely occupied and the great Japanese center of trade of Kansai had same fate.
But Europe isn’t only those nations. OE, Russia’s ancient enemy, decided to take opportunity of this war to threat Russia saying that it was just to protect Poland. After heavy diplomatic talks it was decided that France would peace Poland for Kansai and OE would get Samarkand from Russia. And the war should continue between only Denmark, Russia vs Poland.
Spain is also threatening France with war once again; despite we thought they were friendly.
What will happen? Only time will tell…

French AAR 1622-1632
In 1622 France was still at war against Poland, but the war was pretty over. After heavy negotiations, Poland agreed to give away Kansai, the Japanese Center of trade and to sell her recently conquered provinces in Java islands (4 in total).
It was time to recover our economy. France kept the post of the richest nations in the world and trade income was increasing daily. The Navy was also expanded and provinces converted to the one true faith in Indonesia and North America.
But Louis XIII couldn’t forget the threat received by Spain while France was still at war. While France was still fighting Poland, Spain said clearly that she would attack France. It was time to, for the first time, attack Spain instead of being attacked, and decrease the risk of a dangerous Spanish offensive in the near future.
War was declared and Austria and Russia joined in Spanish side. For one year France was fighting alone against those 3 nations and she wasn’t doing badly. Spanish cities in Iberia and in Italy were taken one by one: Apulia, Capitanata, Aragon, Catalunia, Valencia and even Madrid. The Madeira Island was also occupied because of its center of trade.
But the one who thought that Austria was weak is severely mistaken. Austria started a huge offensive that give Spain some breathe since we are forced to turn our attention to the east. And Austria was prepared for this war. But fortunately, for us, we could establish a stable front.
It was time to turn again the attention to Spain and bring her out of the war (at this time Spain was also fighting England and the Ottoman Empire). One small offensive that managed to take Madrid again was enough to force Spain to peace. By that deal Spain agreed to cede her last 2 Continental Italian cities: Apulia and Capitana and also ceded the Madeira Island and its center of trade to France.
It was time to deal with Austria.
Offensive started firstly against Austrian vassal, Tuscany. Soon the city fell to French troops. The plan was to make it quick and strong enough to force the Austrians to understand that she couldn’t match us in strength without being too expensive. This was reached quicker than we thought. Austria asked for peace. We demanded Romangna, Brescia, Montova and Ferrara (the last 4 Austrian provinces in main Italy), they made a counter-offer asked for protection to accept. That was accepted by Louis XIII and now France has an alliance with Austria.
And with the later annexation of Tuscany, Continental Italy was finally annexed. Some says that it is being planned a completely unified Empire once again. Charles Magnus throne is indeed a dream that is every day more possible for the French Kingdom. It seems that it has been already solicited by Louis XIII for the Pope that is considering such possibility……

AAR: Ottoman Empire 1622-1632
As it was thought, the 600 thousand men armed to teeth was bound to have its impact on the northern war, so Russians scared of an Ottoman intervention, gave Samarkand as a gift for the Ottoman Empire in exhange of a non-aggression pact.
France and Denmark also negotiated peace with Poland, leaving only Russia to fight it alone.
As the war in the north didnt happen, Ottoman army marched towards Persia and Oman. Soon war was declared upon Oman and Persia honored their alliance. Ottoman army smashed the Persians and Omanese and the war ended to Persias vasallization, Oman was stripped from most of its possessions.
As the war was over, and new weapon factories were running at maximum capacity, the army was built up to enormous size again. The fleet was also enlargened with new galleys.
And when France and also England declared war upon Spain, Ottomans saw its chance to get Morocco freed from Spanish control which they had previously rejected to do, even for a modest sum of money. So the Ottoman navy was sent near Spain to threaten them to give up Morocco. They refused, so the navy was ordered back to fetch the army. Army loaded to the navy, and again it sailed to the west. War was declared and soon the spanish isles were under siege. A huge landing was made to the Peninsula, which gained modest success, although due to attrition it had to retreat back to the navy. Now the navy is sailing again to the east for reinforcements while the isles are one by one falling to Ottoman troops, making it only a matter of time before Spanish goverment accepts to free Morocco.
Economy-wise, nothing special happened. Domestic centers of trades were kept under control, and Africa received chief judges to their provinces. A new level of infrastructure was researched, which will allow us to build some new structures.

With peace being made with France and Denmark, Poland could now focus on turning the tide in the Russian war. But the initial advantage the Russians gained was too much to reverse. So in the end, Poland lost five of its Ukrainian provinces to the growing greedy Eastern menace. NAPs were signed with our previous two enemies, so we could rebuild and focus on Russia later on.
Trading again provided a good investment, with income rising again to pre-war levels, and building up troops for the future war against the Russians. Colonization also went good, with a handful of provinces in Africa and Indonesia receiving waveafter wave of Polish settlers.
The European war raging throughout the continent faced Poland with the option to pick sides. Truthful to the agreement made with France, we did not intervene, and sold military access to the Russians. But when the Bear was distracted with operations in Austrian territory, the military access was canceled and there was time for war against the Russians yet again. Poland will get its provinces back, and Russia will be forced into submission for its treachery.

The Next Great Russo-Polish War

The previous war ended after a bit less then 5 years as the crushing Russian victory after crushing victory against the Poles forced them to accede to Russia's demands and cede the Ukraine back to its rightful Russian owners liberated from Polish dominion in an unequal commonwealth.
Peace ensued, and much effort was placed into dispersing the protestant christians and restoring the supremacy of the Russian Orthodox Church in the affairs of Ukrainian peoples as is right. Tax collectors were reestablished to efficiently collect income to the Russian State and the Ukrainian militia was raised to keep the peace to aid the Russian Imperial Army. more effort was expended into taming the wilds of Siberia through forced colonization and farming of virgin lands.
The Russian mercantile economy grew as the state granted monopolies and preferential loans to Russian merchants rather then foreigners, and many new roads, towns, and the infastructure of state built up.
However, the Tsar was worried of a possible Polish attack and quickly established diplomacy with the Spanish Crown and agreed that in exchange for Polish neutrality the Russian Armies would march with Spain against France.
Spain declared war on France and it became apparant even with Austrian aide that the war would go slowly and Russian troops became surly at the lack of progress and lack of pay to march so far from their homes to fight somebody elses war.
Soon it became apparant that the Polish were not going to abide by the terms of their agreement and the Russian armies withdrawn and peace signed between France and Russia. Soon war was declared between Russia and Poland and things look grim.
