There are alot on vnet today. There are about 3 games going on and lots of through traffic

just a curiosity as I don't play much MP, but can you host/join games with Vnet now or is it still just a "chat channel" like some people complained?

nothing, as you cannot join. These are the people who are usually first time on vnet and don`t know what to do, so they try to host on vnet.
Btw, it seemed that it did work for 1.02 and earlier but i`m not sure
