Thanks to those who have offered their well wishes - always very much appreciated. :) Without further ado, I’m going to pass this on to a relatively new AAR from someone who has great technical knowledge and also knows how to write a story. Plus being a generous commenter on other AARs.

For those who haven’t seen it yet, and want to either start or improve their playing of EU4, it’s not too late to get into Jak's Game Guide: An EU4 Tutorial by @jak7139 and I heartily encourage you to do so! Congrats to Jak as the new showcase holder for this week!

It is a really great strategy/tutorial AAR and very much deserving of a showcase. Congrats @jak7139!

Thank you very much @Bullfilter for nominating my new AAR!

And thank you @Chac1 , @Midnite Duke , @El Pip , @coz1 , @The Kingmaker , @HistoryDude , and @Peter Ebbesen for all the support!

Having looked through the list of winners, I've decided to pick someone new. I'm not the only one who is enjoying The Red Heart of Europe by @High Speed Flying Gladius. Their AAR follows the Duchy of Burgundy in the 1066 bookmark of CK3. The author makes great use of alliteration and descriptions when recounting the deeds of the characters.

There are only five chapters so far, so it's a quick read to get caught up. Congratulations HSFG!

An excellent choice, congratulations indeed @High Speed Flying Gladius !
Yup, great call! HSFG is good at evoking emotion in their story
Congrats to @High Speed Flying Gladius ! Well deserved.

It seems you have arrived HSFG: not only do you have a nickname but an acronym now too! Well done.
It is shaping up to be a vintage year for burgundy, congrats @High Speed Flying Gladius.
You’re more than welcome @jak7139 and congratulations @High Speed Flying Gladius :)

From the bottom of my heart, thank you all.
I know I'm repeating myself, but when I started writing, I could never have imagined just how much reception this series would have gotten and how positive it would have been.

I cherish all your comments and support greatly.

And yea, it's a pretty nice acronym.

Real life sucks, which is a weak-ass way of saying I have some catching up to do.

So, congratulations are in order to @Bullfilter. I haven't read Poles Apart, so I guess I'll have to correct that.

And to @jak7139. His excellent Game Guide is an AAR I'm currently reading.

Finally, to @High Speed Flying Gladius, who is apparently on a well deserved roll.

So, uh, between IRL duties and writing my own thing, I had very little time to read any AARs recently, so I can't in good faith nominate any.

I'm passing up on the nomination, first come, first serve to anyone looking to nominate an AAR.
