I am trying to run EU (tried versions 1.07 and 1.09), and it loads, but the game flips my monitor into 800x600 mode, so I can't see all the screen anymore. I have an HP 18.1" LCD model L1800. My video card is the Hercules Prophet 4500 w/64MB, running on an Abit BX MB with PIII/500, 160 MB RAM. I don't have this problem with any other program; the video plays OK, but then when the initial setup screen appears, the bottom and part of the side is cut off, so I can't mouse over all the buttons. I checked the monitor's on-board mode indicator, and it says that the screen is in 800x600 mode, even though my desktop is set for 1024x768 (I have tried setting my desktop to various other resolutions, but it doesn't help with the game). I'm really puzzled.

Hmmm - he has figured that out but part of the screen is "cut off".

Try going into your Grahpic Card setup program and adjust the settings for 800 x 600(16 bit). It sounds as though it need centralising or the refresh rate altering. Try the refresh rates at Optimum.

I've had this problem as well but it's no harder than adjusting the settings on your monitor; that is playing around with the little buttons to move the screen back and forth til you're happy with it. An no, the screen will not be de-centralized upon exiting EU and returning to 1024x760 (at least it did'nt for me).
