I was playing the Duke of Aquitaine and I married the Duchess of Toulouse. We had two daughters and a son. I have like 7 ducal titles or something ridiculous. My son is heir to the Duchy of Orleans and the Duchy of Berry which I also hold, while the daughter is heir to everything else. My younger daughter is a pretender, but my son doesn't even take up a pretender slot for the Duchy of Aquitaine. Is there a reason for this? It's as if he's been removed from the succession altogether for the purposes of Aquitaine and my other duchies excluding Orleans and Berry. He's also the heir of Toulouse. I checked, and all of my duchies are Agnatic-Cognatic primogeniture. Is there a limit on the number of duchies a vassal duke can hold, or what?

The only thing I can think of is that if some of your duchies are in other kingdoms, you might run into trouble if there is High Crown authority, as that prevents a foreign ruler from inheriting them. Since all the duchies you mentioned are in France through, that may not be the answer in your case.

It might help others to investigate if you could post a save.

It's not that - we're all in France. France has Low Crown Authority. Why is my daughter heir to most of my duchies and my son is completely removed from those lines of succession, while my son is first in line for three of my duchies? How does that make any sense?
