Since this board is so quiet, I thought I'd throw this out.

What is your weirdest game ever?

Right now, I would have to say my current game is right up there for me. Germany '36 in Arma 1.2. It's 1943, and I've been dawdling. The SU is safely bitter peaced and after I released the asian puppets, it's down to about 6 IC. After having taken out the rest of Europe, Inda, and Africa, I begin my designs on Italy. However, I've found that the Italians (who I did not invite to the Axis) have decided to ally with the Japanese (another non-invitee). This pseudo-axis is also in a war against the allies, but that doesn't stop me from declaring war. So now we have a menange-a-trois (or however it's spelled) of death going on, with fighting raging across Southern Europe, North Africe, Burma, and the Chinese-Mongolian Border.

So that's mine. I'm sure that others have better. So let's hear 'em.

probably wouldn't be so quiet if that one dude hadn't banned everyone for minor infractions or discussing older posts "necromancy" funny thing is certain people do it regular like and get away with it ....cool to be a cat eh ?

I can't remember a really wierd game (though there has been some), but my latest one as the US was quite interesting. Japan never attacked China, and then I managed to coup the Soviet Union in early August 1939 = germany didn't get steamrolled by the Soviets, and I actually had a chance to liberate Europe for once.

I also saved the game after the coup, and switched sides to Germany once I had finished the US-game. Unfortunately the dissent-event for not-occupying-Rhineland kept coming up once a month, though it should have been slept when the German AI moved troups into cologne at the beginning of the original game. Strange.

That sounds like it made for a fun game. A work around for the dissent event (without sleeping the event yourself that is) just fire event 1005 to kill the dissent. I really enjoy the games where the decisions of the AI really take things into left field. Are you planning on doing a massive land war against the Japanese in China?

Was playing as Argentina; eventually annexed the entirety of South and Central America. I was prepairing for war with the US when I notice that partisans have spawned all over the States and were destroying their armies. I've never seen anything like that before, so I declare war on the US and annex them pretty easily.

The only reason I think it is weird because I have never seen partisans forming armies that can actually threaten major powers (or any powers, as far as I can recall) before. And the Civil War happened at just the right time, too. ^^
