So yeah, I tried to do some things with the setup of this game...
I knew 12 players meant it wouldn't last long, so I thought a lot of blesseds and cursed would extend the playtime. But with 3 curseds, I couldn't have more than one starting wolf. As such I made them pathological liar so that a) they would be safe from dying too early and b) there would be a way of catching them through behaviour (the biggest issue with a lone wolf is usually that analysis is useless).
In retrospect pathological liar was the wrong solution, it's far too strong in a 12 player game and isn't really enough to make a player analyzable. I should have probably kept the blesseds but removed the curseds and just had 3 starting wolves. Do note though, that if Wombat was a starting wolf, the cursed hunt was blessed instead, and Avernite wasn't PL, the game's outcome would have been the same.

Wombat really lucked out with the timing of my scan. GG. I guess there wasn't much that could be done wombat was unscannable, I knew Avernite was sus but nobody followed. Thabks for hosting Panzer!

Oh yeah now that the players have mentioned it, two fun facts about this game:
- Ironhide scanned wombat the night he was scanned, which led me to notice that until now Alchemist did not have a place in the nightly action order and so I had to create it. I put alchemiist scans before wolf hunts to be consistent with all other scans which also happen before killing actions.
- Wagonlitz shot MawOfDoom the night he was going to be hunted by the wolves. They had a backup on Aedan though.

Indeed, getting turned would have been quite fun, especially since it would've been the first time changing sides in a game for me!
Would it have actually prolonged the game though? I thought even with three you would still only reach parity by today.

I shot you because I believed your brother's claim about you being suspicious, @MAWofdoom . I looked at his arguments against you and thought they fitted and I felt like I kinda had to take the shot. I believed there to be two, perhaps even three starting baddies. Remmber this wa before all the curses. So I felt that if I didn't use my shot I'd hamstring the village. I believed I was the sole assassin.
I was legit when I said I initially had it on aedan, as I really did think initially he was a wolf. Had Wombat not supported aedan's claim about my posts having been suspicous, then I'd have shot aedan. And I did then move to Clause, which would have been a total disaster as no way I'd nt have been run up immediately if I shot a villager assassin.
@Team Wombat I had my doubts about you hat times, but never enought hat I could make a case on you.
@Avernite did you ever make any lies? I didn't catch any, albeit I didn't at all look for any as I just didn't even remotely consider the possibility of a liar in such a small game.

I was turned night 0. Which was fortunate, as I hate playing as a villager and was alchemist scanned by Ironhide night 0 (unlucky timing for him). Coming up with reasonably plausible cases and timing them is tricky work.

That's perfectly understandable. I was sort of rushing my commentary at the end of day 2 after wombat said ironhide made a claim to him, so I sort of understand why I would be suspicious since I didn't bother to think through my reasoning. I wasn't saying "why did you kill me" to make it seem like you had no reason behind doing so, I only said that because it was so saddening to me after wombat told me I was about to be hunted.

At which point did you start expecting you'd lose an 11v1 / 10v2? When 4 people ddn't show on day 1, or before that?

I was shortsighted with Avernite and haven't got around to reconsider him after my initial unvoting of him. He convinced me there rather well.
Thanks for hosting, Panzer, and I agree that these numbers are better suited for lights. The setup was quite cool, tho
