VP is a term used in America for a vice president. Weirdly enough then American companies have many vice presidents, so despite logic a VP generally won't be the second in command. Thwt confused me for a bit.
They also have EVPs, executive vice presidents, which are above VPs and actually are part of the executive so generally c suite.
So yeah, the short answer is that it's US stuff us non Americans usually won't encounter or know.
