A GAME OF WEREWOLVES & MONSTERS
"Welcome to the game of Werewolf. No other experience will twist your mind and force you
to look into the deep recesses of your own soul like the anarchy
and chaos of this game.
All are welcome to join, but beware: that haunting melody of laughter you hear dancing on
the wind can quickly turn into the ferocious growl of a beast from Hell."

The Rules
  • Rule 1 - The game is split into two phases, night and day. The result of these phases will be revealed by the Game Master in daily updates. The Wolves and Vampires hunt during the night, and the villagers vote to lynch during the day. Lynchings are carried out via public voting in this thread. Whoever obtains the most votes before deadline will be lynched, and their role and traits revealed by the Game Master. Correct voting is done by typing VOTE [INSERT NAME] in bold letters. Repeated failure to vote will result in substitution or auto-lynching.
  • Rule 2 - Your role and other information will be delivered by the Game Master via private conversation, through which you will also take any action your role and traits allow. You may reveal your role and other information you obtain from the Game Master with others, but you may N E V E R quote the Game Master directly. Reproducing A N Y private conversations in any shape or form will result in auto-lynching.
  • Rule 3 - The Hierarchy of Nightly Orders: The Seer, Priest, and Sorcerer scan first; the Guardian Angel and Doctor protect second; the Werewolves and Vampires hunt third; Van Helsing and Hunter act fourth.
  • Rule 4 - Spectators and ghosts may haunt, taunt, and flaunt, but they may never influence the game. Anyone caught attempting to influence the game will be banned from future participation. Ghost and Spectator commentary should be in non-white color.
  • Rule 5 - Villages win if all Werewolves and Vampires are dead. Werewolves win if they reach parity with the villagers and all Vampires are dead. Vampires win if they reach parity with the villagers and all Werewolves are dead.

IN as Gengar.

Reproducing A N Y private conversations in any shape or form will result in auto-lynching.

Does this still refer to GM conversations, or are we also not allowed to quote/reproduce PMs between players?

Also, I think the protection order should be made more explicit. What happens if e.g. the guardian angel and doctor protect the same person, and that person gets hunted?

In as the guy who ruins it.

Just to clarify:
Brutal is a baddie only trait, correct?
Will leader override even a hugely favored vote like 10 on outed wolf and outed wolf on 1 person?
Will Blessed allow a player to survive any nightly attack, not just a hunt?
What the hell is the point of the Doctor?

What the hell is the point of the Doctor?
I would like to know that too; especially given that the victim doesn't get a wolf name either.

I can see a small point. If e.g. the doctor saves the seer, then the seer knows he will die within a day and can just post all scans publically.
That and stalling away parity, but both of those seem incredibly situational.

Will there be more than 2 traits added to the game or are we going very vanilla here? (Not that I mind a fairly vanilla game, it'll be refreshing from all the lovers and rivals traits nonsense.)
