Why did you then swap back to thinking it was deo when you knew I'd been told not to snipe?
Also, I assume that I wasn't high on your hunt list at least, even if you didn't fully trust my claim.
Yeah having the cultist die with the master really is a bad idea. Having cultists die with the pack is bad too, but less bad. Personally I like cultists being able to move around and only dying if all the wolves in the game die.

Ah, we didn't get the one PM where you were told not to snipe. We got the rest, though, it seems.

Well, at least I got my Greek pun in this game.

17. Dedonus as Outis the Seer overrun Day 8
Day one of our quest. Look and behold: a rock. I hereby claim this as the crown colony of the resurrected kingdom of Norge. It will be our most beloved possession as the first one claimed by our free nation following svenske oppression and that dreadful 400 years long danske night.

Vote Dedonus

For looking at my rock with them shifty eyes.
Don't worry. Nobody (i.e. Outis) is looking at your rock. ;)

Hunters could be a problem, yes, though having two goodie hunters with the packs being relatively traitless would be unbalanced, so personally I wouldn't have been worried about another goodie hunter.
And chain leader lynches aren't a thing, so no need to worry about that. Or did you mean the leader lynch failing? It couldn't fail. There were 9 man left and 3 in your pack, so as long as the pack is on the same candidate a leaderlynch can happen. And unless all goodies claim sorc you just lynch one of the people not having claimed sorc you just leaderlynch randy and hunt one person not having claimed sorc.

It can't fail.

The leader lynch ("Will become the Leader immediately if the current Leader ability is used up (eg killed or has leaderlynched a goodie). As this takes place immediately it creates the possibility of chains of Leader traits firing at the same deadline.") and a lurking hunter bit is the absolute smallest of concerns. For the last couple of days I started to believe that there were no seer just like in johho's last Big game, meaning also no priest or sorc. Then when randy revealed himself I got a bit shocked, so I started to believe that either there were just a priest in this game, no other important role, or he was bluffing and were in fact the seer himself. Not knowing for sure that the sorc was out there was at least for me my biggest concern. Rather go safe than expose the whole pack in a snipe.

Unless the wolves played suboptimally, which they did a bit, granted, then it was impossible for the village to win due to the leader being allowed to save himself. The wolves had 33% of the vote, hence no matter who the village tried to lynch they could leaderlynch. Then leaderlynch randy to not risk hitting a protection and hunt somebody not claiming sorc and it's over.
Yes, I know it would be very difficult to beat you guys how things turned out. Just sucks that we basically narrowed down who the wolves were and we couldn't kill them.

Ah. Yeah it makes sense then.
Hadn't realised that leaderlynch had the option for chains this game.
Not sure I like it.

So, I was correct in that exchange with Sleepy where I said 'hey you and Hax are acting like last game, where you were both baddies!'

@Wagonlitz : On Day 2, I almost PM'd you to tell you to get off of Aedan. Lucky I didn't. Also, because of your inactivity, I contacted Aedan on Day 5 I belive instead because I assumed you would not be able to do an outing because of how bad the deadline was for.

Besides not scanning any red wolves, I think I got really lucky in this game in other respects.

Ah, that's regrettable. If I had been available this morning (seriously, you guys had to schedule this madness for a day where I have class from 10-12!), I probably could have talked Hax into the snipe. The flag of Arkansas with the n scratched out makes up for it, though. It's just my luck to be playing with Hax on the one day he isn't feeling absurdly audacious, though.

I got three sorc claimants; the priest, the seer, and the sorc. alxeu had eliminated the priest from consideration (make sure you're PMing the right people, kids!), and initially we preferred the seer, hence why Dedonus got randy's name for sniping and Wagon got Yakman's, but after Wagon kept PMing me, I realized he was probably the sorc. So I trusted you for the last ten minutes or so, Wagon.

As long as I was told long enough in advance I could do it.
Deadline legit was bad for me, but if I have to be on I most often can be on. My biggest problem is that I have a lot of things happening in the late afternoon/early evening so I plain and simply just forgot about the game some days as I'm used to later deadlines.
Though fortunate you didn't, since that'd have been my death.

Did your pack had any suspicious that I was the seer prior to today?

No; before randy outed himself, it seemed to me (and Hax as well, as he's said) that this was likely another scanner-less game.

Alxeu sent a PM to randy by mistake?

Personally I'd have given the snipe name to all claimants. Can't really lose anything from it.

Other way around. Randy sent me a PM by mistake, but managed to edit out anything before I could see it on the forums. My email, on the other hand...

You're not wrong, but we didn't know who to trust and I wanted to promote as much confusion as possible. Regrettably, the rest of the villagers did not contact me, so that became moot.

So all I had wrong was which kind of baddy you were.
This logic is incomprehensible, Hax had a fix idea that I was lurking when I was more active than most. It is the second time he goes after me in tunnel vision as a wolf so there might be something there, but last game my story didn't entirely check out and this game he was just wrong which he then acknowledged. The fact that I was a baddie (yes, again) is entirely coincidental.

Nono, you misunderstand. You two were wailing at eachother to no real purpose. It is entirely immaterial whether or not you were right, what mattered was how you did it - that tipped me off that you were both bad again.

The problem with "free" cultist, I always find, is how to attach them. There will always be some goodies which try to act cultists and make a whole lot of mess where the GM gains an active role... I guess another way to tackle this problem is to make all cultists count for parity and be unattached, just that some start in contact with a pack and some don't

Oh, so like the time you let a cultist attach to a pack when he wasn't really a cultist? :p
