as you wait for the council to start you all pass the time with discussions of battles won, and a dueling tournament eventually deathnoteforcutie proves triumphant, and receives acclimation from all attendees. The morning when the council should start though, something is wrong, one of your number is missing after much discussion you realize it was your battle brother Hax. strangely no one is sure what legion he was, because he'd painted his armor a light blue color. maybe he was ejected for non regulation uniform? You decided that if people are going to be ejected from the proceedings it should be done openly and begin voting about ejections

you all spend the day discussing who should be ejected and have nearly come to a conclusion when one of your brothers stands up and claims that he has undisputable proof that sleepyhead is a mutant. You all believe him and eject him from the proceedings. One of the Adeptus Custodes investigates the claims of mutating, finds it true and executes him. Sleepyhead was known by all to be very deductive in his reasonings but it appears that his blind hatred for pskyers led him down the wrong path, into the warrior lounges, mutation and treason. The next morning you find Claude LC foully murdered. He was a world eater and even a pskyer, but a good man nonetheless and he will be missed. You also find Aedan, a renowned librarian shot dead in typical lunawolf style. you also hear rumors that some of you have banded together calling themselves "the emperors hands" who will do what must be done to save this council no matter what.

Today the traitors among you revealed themselves
They were more than you'd thought, too many to stop even for the emperors primarch son, disguised as a woman for the council, and his companions
They chanted the names of their vile "gods" and rampaged through the chambers. They murdered the ultramarines pet furniture building monkey! But in their madness they forget about the emperor. His guards killed then quickly. The disruption of the council by sorcerers cultists and madmen was enough to see psykers banned. It seemed the cultists had failed. But somewhere in the warp four gods looked upon the seeds of betrayal and despair they had laid with their interference and laughed

In time the emperor's favorite son would fall to darkness binding some of his brothers secretly to his side
On the rebellious planet of istavan III he planned a secret purge of those marines under his or his fallen brothers he could not turn. But thanks to the quick actions of death guard captain Nathaniel garro and space wolfs captain yak manno the secret purge is not so secret. The emperor and his loyal sons now know they have been betrayed and the galaxy will burn.
