The end... for now
Today the traitors among you revealed themselves
They were more than you'd thought, too many to stop even for the emperors primarch son, disguised as a woman for the council, and his companions
They chanted the names of their vile "gods" and rampaged through the chambers. They murdered the ultramarines pet furniture building monkey! But in their madness they forget about the emperor. His guards killed then quickly. The disruption of the council by sorcerers cultists and madmen was enough to see psykers banned. It seemed the cultists had failed. But somewhere in the warp four gods looked upon the seeds of betrayal and despair they had laid with their interference and laughed

In time the emperor's favorite son would fall to darkness binding some of his brothers secretly to his side
On the rebellious planet of istavan III he planned a secret purge of those marines under his or his fallen brothers he could not turn. But thanks to the quick actions of death guard captain Nathaniel garro and space wolfs captain yak manno the secret purge is not so secret. The emperor and his loyal sons now know they have been betrayed and the galaxy will burn.

To be continued on paradox WW

Emperor Ike the conman alderman is lynched

Wagonlitz the robbed ex-priest is hunted

The wolves reach parity and overwhelm the village

Congratulations to the winners!

Bipolarbear as an ultramarine iron warrior prejurer

Cymsdale as a deceptive intuitive prejurer

Avernite as a turned emperors children clairvoyant prejurer

Arhiman/ claude 2.0 as a thousand sons warrior lodge member

Well, thank the GM for that handy turning just when the village was falling apart!

Also, thanks GMs for running the game.

And congrats team, really thought we might bite it last-minute when noone contacted Cymsdale to claim being a baddie!

Oh god I didn't even notice I had deceptive, lol.
And you tell us NOW!

Geesh, you could've twisted Ike's vote in pretzels. :p

All credit to panzer i just wrote fluff updates and didn't even do that too many times because I went off to venice
I stayed up late to write this one for the finale but really this is all panzer who is amazing

Thanks for hosting Panzer and Bro.

At least the village didn't lose this by killing jeray or Ike which I fully expected them to do.
We wouldn't ahve lynched Jeray on my watch and I think I managed to get Audren convinced that jeray wasn't too likely a baddie. Now, Avernite would have been hard to get. But I could well see the village going for Claude over Ike.

The village wasn't falling apart. We had a very real shot at winning until you sniped.

It just wasn't too visible from the outside as much went on behind the scenes with how inactive the goodies were. For isntance had I not been robbed then I well would have ended up scanning Claude.
And Audren, johho, and I ended up making a last ditch guild last night and we among other things got 5 seer scans and Ike was getting scanned tonight, so one of Audren and I surviving and Ike wouldn't hand. That'd leave Claude and Avernite, with Claude most likely hanging.

So it really came down to that hunter shot. Had that shot been made then we'd still have been in the game.

Also, Panzer, it was a bit inconsistent that we had to post our orders in the guild chat, but jeray and Claude apparently didn't have to do it. For the future then I think that guilds really should requite people to vote in the guild chat itself.

Also I really hate the robber trait. Why that was allowed to remain when rival and lover were removed I don't get. Personally I consider rival less bad than robber as robber really can mess things up, and can mess things up more than rival.

Also Congrats to Cymsdale who I accused of:

myself said:
@Cymsdale are you trying to be the most obvious baddie ever who still survived, or is this just your standard style? ;)

Oh yay. :p Congrats team, all on you as it's my first big game and I was a mess.
You managed to play well enough that you only were top of the list today and yesterday.

I am a bit happy abut being able to finger Cyms and Claude a day or two ago when we talked about who the last baddies were. A shame that we didn't have the opportunity to get them.

I fingered Claude as a baddie before I even got turned, but DNFC told me not to vote him just before he died. Not sure why that was.

Also, your last-minute guild would, of course, have been quite risky with its ability to cause more deaths! ;)

When you're a baddie then mates look way more obvious than they actually are. Goodies do suspicious things all the time.

Oh I know. But Cymsdale had spent two days, one before my turning, being an obvious baddie. Still not really sure how he ended up skating the first of those days ;)

Really? The one day he said the best cases were the ones who were above him made me suspicious, but I didn't want to kill a new player that early and forgot about it.

He was shooting DG and if I survived another day I would have pretended to be the turned player to him to get him to shoot you.

Firstly then DNC is a gal.

I think that she might have told you to lay off Claude due to the guild, as Claude dying would mean that hte guild powers would be done for. Which is another reason I don't really like guilds. They incentive not killing suspects.

And yeah, our last minute guild wasn't too good. I was certain that you had managed to finger both Audren and I as members. And most of the powers were unusable as tehre just wasn't time.
But it was a semi desperate move. Johho proposed it last night and I ended up agreeing, despite normally being against guilds, as it was clear that we either were at parity or past it, and hence the lynch no longer could have us win. We needed some powers to have a chance.
And the guild cost just reinforced my view of guilds being deathtraps and not worth it.

You're way more obvious to your mates than to the village. And there wasn't much full on vote analysis this game, which also made it easier to hide.

I mainly forgot he existed for much of the game, so that might have played a part too. Though, being able to not stand out for much of the game is an accomplishment for a nw player too.

I do think that the Bro not including non voters in the final counts of the day is problematic, as it means that Bi several times just didn't figure on the final counts meaning that forgetting about him became easier. And then tehre were days where his vote was outright missed and not on the final count, which would have been spotted had there been a no voting list.

The him in the sentence was Claude... ;)

But yes, I was a bit unsure about your diatribe about guilds being ungood. Made me a bit suspicious, but I thought we had the game in the bag anyway thanks to the psychic scan confirming we were at parity.

Getting killed night 1 kind of sucked, but I was rather surprised to find out DG shot me for no good reason. I thought for sure that my paranoia on Audren was vindicated when I died, and was internally fuming that the village was letting him live for so long. The truth was too stupid for me to consider.
