Oh, I got votes all of a sudden.

But I'm not clear why I got the 'anyone but Hax' votes, given he was clearly an evil Sithis worshipper. A bit weird since both E_L and Arkasas would have been easier targets.

Ugh. In case you guys look at the votes and realize that Hax's guild was the driving force behind him getting lynched, I might as well put this out there before the deadline.

Despite Hax's claims to be Yakman's Knight, Yakman has not confirmed as such, in fact, he has stated the opposite: he has no knight. I've PMs to back it up that'll I request Hax post soon, if possible, though I'll do it myself if/when I'm back at a computer.

Long story short, either Yak is lying about not having a Knight, or Hax is lying about being Yakman's Knight. I was initially inclined to believe Yakman over Hax, but, honestly, it could be either or.

We do have the ability to use alchemist abilities on them to check, ourselves, and that may be something we'd have to do, idk.

All I can confirm is that one of Yak or Hax is lying, and therefore one is probably evil.

The mood in mournhold is edgy.
Assassination in politics is not new to the Dunmer, indeed it has become such an art form to them that there is a officially sanctioned assassins guild in morrowind. But this was not the Morag Tong, who have been unusually quite lately. Some rumors claim that they are fighting a shadow war with the foreign dark brotherhood just as the foreign thief guild fights the Camonna Tong. Unrest grows, the end times are predicted in corner clubs. The Tribunal is little to be seen, but some claim to see the hand of imperial agents. As the fever pitch of paranoia grows fingers are pointed in the Grand Council chambers. Someone must be aiding and abetting this unrest which has seemed to spring up fully formed in moments, but who? The accusations flow fast and furious before consensus is settled upon Eternally lost, one of your number infamous for wandering at odd hours. A royal writ of execution is handed down, though whether it was the Tong or Dark Brotherhood who fulfilled it is a matter of whispering the dark corners. But the darkness is only growing. In the morning you find the body of Alexu, clutching an bloodied akavari katana. He went down struggling, but it was not enough. The royal court has confirmation now that the Blades of the Emperor are among them, and that the deadly foe they know strikes from the shadows has yet to be flushed out.

Have to say, not at all pleased that Hax for some reason thought the proper response to pressure on him was to publicly out our entire guild. I strongly suspect that the hunt on alxeu was a direct result of that.

As alxeu indicated before he died, there was some issue between yakman and Hax. Hax claimed that he was the knight in shining armor to Yakman's damsel in distress, Yakman claims Panzer never told him that Hax was his knight in shining armor. Panzer then subsequently confirmed that if a knight and damsel started the game attached, both players would be informed of the other, including their identity. So one of yakman and Hax is definitely lying.

Frankly I don't see why either of them would lie about this, but clearly one of them is. Considering Hax's actions have probably vastly accelerated the destruction of our guild, I very much lean to him being a baddie though.

Well I think Alxeu has quite clearly made the case for either Yakman or Hax being a baddie. His death is rather conveniently timed in such a way as that he can no longer incriminate Hax, which he indicated he was planning on doing. And as @aedan777 has explained, revealing everything about the guild reeks of baddie.
