Tamius here is the updated list of previous bigs so you can put it in the OP.

I'll see if I can steal some time over x-mas to get them updated to the top posts as well.

In, but I'm on the road after the 21st, so kill me before then.

Tamius nice to see the proper padre back after the padre having been neutered for the last games.
Why is the jester gone?
I like that the thief is neutral---what happens at parity if he still is neutral? I am not sure whether or not I like he kills the people he steal from.

HUNT EUROO7

Am I doing it right, AOK? Or do I need to accuse him of having started the Manhattan Project, the Charge of the Light Brigade, and the writing of Twilight first?

Insanity: Will only apply to scanning roles, those with a scanning trait, or apprentices, and holders will be unaware of it. When scanning, regardless of the role of the player scanned, the insane scanner will receive the result "villager".

Inane trait that adds nothing to the game. pls remove.

Here you go.

Thief: Starts Neutral but cannot win if they stay neutral

That's the original thief I introduced in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Victim is kill. I approve of limiting it to a one time action, though.

Yeah I took over your listing job while you were away; if you want you can have it back. I suggest writing a couple programs to calculate the stats if you haven't already; I really tired of doing it manually.

Oh and I tidied the lists up; it was clearly visible that several people had been updating them, so I made the original format the only format---except with the links; I didn't want to replace the thread anchors with url tags for all but the first 3--4 games.

I can add something though. It will make JLs way way less secure; whether or not that is desirable is another thing though.

I know that is the original; doesn't change it is thoroughly annoying to be killed by him. Though with this kind of cultist it might be worse if a wolf is degraded from wolf to cultist.

It's annoying to be killed? That's your argument?

Wanted in so bad I pre-emted the GM.

Lets try it again. In.

Thanks for removing your post, AOK.

That's Day 1. (Unless you're talking about January?)

If the trait's going to be in the game I think I need to overhaul it, to make it potentially useful, but until then it won't feature in the list.

As Wagon says it can add a bit of paranoia to a scanner, worried that a person he's cleared might not be cleared at all.

It doesn't seem much different from a hunter/assassin shot. But if a wolf becomes an unattached cultist it might even make a wolf want to be attacked... hmm...

Yes, but what does that paranoia do? Besides which, I would argue that it almost certainly will make the scanner too paranoid. Any game that includes the trait, which will most likely be few, would almost certainly include it somewhere, which means that scanners are going to be WAY more cautious this game, possibly to the point of ridicule. Also, if you have a game full of insane scanners, why include the scanners?

I'm not saying that this will happen, or that you as a GM will make every scanner insane. I'm simply pointing out potentially negative side-effects that the trait might incur.

Agreed on the insane trait. There are few things sacred in WW, but a Seer scan of a wolf coming up wolf should be one of them. Big games have enough paranoia as it is.

The only way I would allow inference in a nightly scan is a baddie GA type role that protects wolves/cultist from being detected by a scan, but only if visiting them during the night. And the same person cannot be visited two nights in a row. Call it the conjurer or something like that. I have seen it implemented before and it worked pretty well. A sorc side kick. Can be detected by the priest.

That is how I would do it.

I want the insane trait out as well
