They explicitly told me to personally out mc and state I witnessed him. I wasn't even allowed to say it was a seerish powered scan. I was playing afriad to be hunted because witness recharged so I might be a threat to the baddies.

Idiotic.

That was an option I considered. Another was to have witnessed al-Aziz (since she was just one missed vote away from autolynch).

BTW, al-Aziz, I don't know how much your not voting until the last minute on the day you got lynched had Daffius, Sleepy and myself panicking. We were even considering surrending... Thank you for that extra excitement!

Why did you consider surrending? You didn't think you would win with just 3 wolves?

Actually the JL wanted a TIE with al-Aziz, Daffius and aedan, then changed it to al-Aziz, Daffius, aedan and Hax. Since Daffius didn't really catch on with anyone I tried to make them go for Aziz, aedan and Hax instead and hoped that if we lost Aziz her brutal would trigger and at least one more would be lynched. How the voting happened made it look like Hax had been protected by Aziz and since the JL thought there was only one wolf left the baddies wouldn't have let Aziz have sacrificed herself for a mere cultist so we went for Hax before Sleepy and Daffius who were the only other possible baddies.

The first requested TIE was decent (though I wouldn't have proposed Aziz since she had a claime medic (not that I trusted her, do wouldn't ask for protection unless really really in need, but no need to risk wasting it when there are still several other suspects) and she looked like she would get autolynched, so it was a waste of a lynch.
The proposed TIE where Hax was a possibility was just stupid.

Actually it made sense since it didn't reveal to the general public there was still a seer. Had I not been a baddie it was the right move.

At this time we knew there was a seer, a priest, several completely cleared players and a fully functional JL. Had Aziz not voted and not been lynched she would have been autolynched and marty would have survived and we didn't know aedan would take out the priest or if esemesas was the seer or just some cleared player. Things didn't look good.

The proposed TIE where Hax was a possibility was just stupid.

BTW I don't think I have mentioned my disgust at brovakliin for first subbing out on us after hooking up nicely through Ironhead and then when there finally was a sub available (Livingstone) reclaim his role only to be autolynched immediately. I vow to meta eat/lynch him against all anti-meta rules at least a couple of times.

Again, hindsight is 20/20. We didn't want everyone to know there was a seer by publicly revealing it in the thread. I'm not sure what you can possibly criticize about that.

You saying the JL wanted you to go to the thread also reveals there still is a seer though. And even if you hadn't revealed that a witness outing himself is suspicious---especially with the witness recharging. So I still think it was a poor idea.

You could have claimed there was a witness. It was plausible so it might very well have been bought.

It revealed it to the witness only. Which in this case was as bad but normally isn't.

Yeah, may have been. But on the other hand, it might not. I figured it would have seemed very transparent.

And I only told Johho to say he witnessed. But annoyingly he kept asking if we couldn't make it a seer outing (he was, at least apparently, of the opinion the seer was dead, so we'd want to pretend he was still alive. It was weird but seemed plausible enough for a nervous villager to say.) After about 5 or 6 pms of protesting I had to basically command him to do it as a witness.

And outing him as a seer scan also reveals there is a seer. Making a JL announcement that it was a witness I thought would seem like an obvious lie. Also, I didn't want people to know I was double-scanned, not that that they would have trusted me. And Dr.L was not online anywhere near the deadline. In fact an outing by the JL was impossible. Face it, Wagon, there was no risk-free course of action anywhere.

If a witness bypasses the JL and outs himself then it gets suspicious, since the witness is putting himself at a high risk.

And yes marty there was no riskfree course of action. And it was really unlucky that Livingstone turned out to not be able to be online for at least 3 hours to deadline.

I was trying to act like a witness villager would when witness wasn't a one time thing, I wasn't really trying to fish for info.

I at least thought there was no more seer since we never had any wolf outings, which seemed weird given how long into the game we were. Also there had been at least two apprentices dead already.

johho- I had set an alarm for when I had to snipe and purposefully didn't vote before that so people would think I wasn't going to and wouldn't be prepared. Sorry for not telling you all. o

I actually chose to snipe to aedan because people already suspected Hax and I generally view aedan as a high-priority for death. I was hoping that if Hax and I survived, you would lynch him, not me. Clearly it didn't turn out that way but this way was great too.
