Is my conspicuous absence a sign of wolfishness?

Try harder to act upset. That was not convincing.

Why do you keep deflecting, AOK? It's ok to question your "affiliation"

BREAKING NEWS!!

Walrus is basically the wolf we are looking for, i apologise for my earlier indisgrestion, i see no reason why people would vote for me though, if i was a wolf i would be a pretty sucidal one and i think my packmates would of been so annoyed with me by now that they would just kill me. Im just trying to help mthe village and if i can sense a wolf then i will by darn it shout my corner for them to be killed. I was wrong about the Drxav, Randy, Reis Pack but i am not wrong about the Walrus, EL & Reis Pack.

Drxav and Rand were villagers. Walrus, EL and myself being left.

Formulating hypothesis : After he did the first call, his pack suggested that he issued another one, including one of them. Should something happen to that person, he can receive credit. Furthermore, they may have told to vote that person when he was not endangered, to strengthen his claim.

Roughly 4 hours to the deadline.

Boris (3): Najs, johho, randy
adamus (2): ese, paen
walrus (1): adamus

AOK (1): EL
EL (1): Boris
J.Pass (1): Xenu

NV: athalcor, euro, enkhuush, guy89, slinky, aok, reis, walrus, j.pass

Votecount at that time (taken from Athalcor's post and subtracting enkhuush's vote).

And so, vote he did. After walrus was run-up, however, it became too risky to withdraw the vote. Better to hope (or get?) someone else to switch. By appearing quite unreasonable and even foolish in his accusation, Adamus would have got the desired effect and causing votes to go elsewhere.

I don't know how this might fit in with EL's leader order, though.

Let's see the cultists' votes
Ciryandor
Day 1 - J.Pass to E_L when the game with three-way tie started. Voted by j.pass and randy v.1.
Day 2 - Enkhuush to E_L when the option of bandwagon on E_L and tie arose. Not voted but hunted. The question is: Was he aligned to a pack?

Adamus
Day 1 - Randy v1. and very quiet till the deadline. After some swifts not voted.
Day 2 - drxav = actually started the bandwagon by his huge confidence, followed by many accusing posts. Voted by drxav and reis.
Day 3 - confidence continues, immediate walrus with not as much of a success as before. Voted by ese, paen and slinky. And hunted.

I am having a real hard time getting any sort of grip on this game, half the players seems to act like conspiracy theorists and the rest mostly sits idly by watching. I'll just have to take a shot from the hip and go for the one with the currently weirdest reasoning for his vote.

Do you feel lucky, punk?

vote Xenomorphoc II

EDIT: Grrr, and you just had to change the vote while I was typing, didn't you? Will have to rethink this now, I guess.

Just curious, how is it weird to want to place a vote on somebody who has not received any/much attention when no other alternatives really look good?

BOOTING UP

-----------------------------

Ah, finally the good man got my voice chip fixed. Thank you, kind stranger!

Now, about this whole sock business(not that I wear socks, I'm programmed to help though).

So currently we have:
EL
Euro
me
najs
Athalcor
Guy89
Boris
Paendrag
Slinky
AOK.11
reis91
Randakar v2.0
walrus
johho888
Xenomorph
j.pass
Still alive. 15 people + me
So among the 15 of you, there are some aliens. Judging by previous games, I'd say 6 - two packs of three.

However, I may be wrong here.

So let's begin:

Now, the first thing I notice is EL saving walrus. And strangely enough, people didn't lynch them the following day. Then again, even a stupid robot with a damaged logic unit couldn't be that stupid.

On that very same day, reis increased the gap between drxav and walrus, however, we learned quite soon that drxav was a law-abiding citizen. So this gives +1 goody point to reis. This is irrelevant, but drxav protecting reis is... well, odd.

Also, EL showed some strong opposition to the non-voters, switching between them the minute they voted and in the end leader lynching one of them. Trying to get a good excuse to save a packmate perhaps?

Ciryandor tried to do some calming early in day two. This is generally good for the village, so I award him with a goody point(even though he is dead, but props for keeping cool in the madness :D)

However, as randakar put it: "Lemeard was under zero lynch pressure. EL announcing he would leaderlynch Lemeard only made sure that wolves would happily vote their packmates with no fear of repercussion. Meaning that all information in the vote cycle after that point becomes useless. Even more importantly, without knowing what any of the people in that vote cycle actually -were-, we now have no way to ascertain anything about the identities of the other people in that vote cycle."

Day 2, an early bandwagon is started on drxav. The evildoers are najs, adamus and boris, walrus joins in not much later. Even later that same day, Adamus forgets his pills and starts accusing people. J.Pass and EL joined the bandwagon late, making them good suspects as well.

Day 3 comes and Adamus once again throws an accusation at us. No-one believes him and another jolly pile up, this time on Boris, starts - najs, johho and randakar start(randy switched later, but to tie Boris with johho, which is required of him, by law, I suppose), then walrus, guy and aok all mindlessly hop onto the wagon(well, okay, walrus was protecting himself). Also, funnily enough, enk, reis and Athalcor follow Adamus's suggestion that walrus is a wolf. Najs then diverts attention from Boris, making it a 4-4-3, but then people start voting enkuush for wagoning walrus, when reis was a walrus wagoner himself and AOK hid in the wagon on Boris. EL pushed enk further into the lead, removing walrus from the danger... Hmmm, suspicious.

So my list of most likely suspects:
EL
AOK
reis
guy
walrus

Feel free to slap me in the (metaphorical) balls and show me where I was wrong.

Edit: Vote AOK - placeholder.

Just curious, how is it weird to want to place a vote on somebody who has not received any/much attention when no other alternatives really look good?
See my edit. When I started writing your vote was on Boris the seer cleared. It just took me too long to find and upload that picture. Guy is actually not a half bad candidate.

That post about sums it up.

Is Randy trying to set me up for lynching a sign of wolfishness?

Don't be coy. If I want to set you up for lynching I will set you up for lynching. Like this:

Vote AOK. 11

No, it's a sign of me thinking that you have seen zero pressure as of yet, and you have been very quiet and inactive to boot.

Now here's a new bit of theory. It's a tad late by now, but I hadn't really quite around to posting this.

The question is: what happened on day 0, when some Jacob belatedly added some new people to the roster after noticing they hadn't gotten in yet?

The first thing to note:

rng was funny.

What, exactly, was funny about the rng?
Would, perhaps, all the interesting roles have ended up in funny places?

Then there is this:

I forgot to add xenomorph to the players before firing us off, rolling him a totally blind side and then a role to go with that side. Also adding him in to the first post now.

Adding j. pass too. Feel free to insult the gm all you want today and I will take it. :eek:o:eek:o

So, as you may remember Xenomorhph II and J.Pass both got belatedly added to the game. What roles might they have gotten, you think?

The original setup had 21 people. With 2 packs, 1 in 3 of those is the normal ratio. 7 baddies, in other words.
Now add 2 more: 23 people. That adds up to 7 2/3rd. So there's a 66% chance that in order to keep the game balance straight one of the new additions had to be a baddie of some kind - meaning, Xenomorhp II and J. Pass.

The question is, how does this add up?

We have seen 2 dead cultists. Neither of them was a new addition. With 7 baddies 2 packs of 3 and one free baddie (a sorcerer?) is the most logical. The two dead cultists are original players, so unless the packs consisted of 1 wolf each and 2 cultists (highly unlikely,) that means we need to have 4 wolves left, 2 in each pack.

hrm. It does make me wonder about the belatedly added players though. Unless he made both of them wolves (of opposing packs) I don't see either of them being a wolf. But one of them is probably a non-wolf baddie of some kind.

I am not a wolf guys. Just short on time the last few days and thus my play has sucked so far.

I will take a look and post my thoughts later.
