I still have my doubts about Euro. He claims to have scanned AOK - is this a joke or have you actually scanned him.

I am a bit mistified about your argument. You are arguing that if I am a goodie I should be in contact with Boris ze Spider. You are however not admitting to be in contact with Boris ze Spider, so how would you know if I am in contact or not? By your reasoning it would make you a good candidate for lynching. Let me ask it plain. Are you in contact with Boris ze Spider?
 
@slinky - don't you think that if walrus is in contact with Boris about anything the last thing he'd want to do is make himself a hunt target by saying so publicly?

hmm, well, if euro claims such a thing surely he would never ever lie about it or even say something like that as a joke, would he? :p

Wait, if you believe euro to be a scanner, why are you voting him? I doubt there is more than one sorcerer in the setup and that sorcerer is dead, so if he's a scanner he's a goodie.

What can I say to my defence.. I was the first to point out Guy's misuse of words yesterday.. If I was an Alpha pack then I guess I would have let someone else point that out or hope that was going to go unnoticed.. If I'm Beta pack (If there are such a thing) then no I have no defence.. Except that noone in this village can claim to have been voting them and so we're all suspects.. even Boris whom is the only one I see "cleared" for the moment..

I don't see anything weird with that. Perhaps if I give the example others will follow.

I claim to be in contact with Boris ze Spider.

Of course this is still not saying much without knowing more, I could have been lying to Boris ze Spider or only said hi. :p
However it is a quantative statement that can be checked. Now I ask walrus to do the same

And you're being deliberately obtuse, my reasoning was that if you were an important goodie, then you would almost certainly have been in contact with Boris, who would thus either now, in the past or in the future, try to deflect suspicion away from you. Maybe I'm giving Boris too much credit.

And it just makes me think you are a baddie looking to deflect suspicion.

On a side note, EURO needs to be Seer scanned. Immediately.
 
First off people will be a bit shocked by this. That is fine. Game is over, if you are alive and not ese you have won. Congrats. I am cutting the slightly short. Paendrag has set his sights upon ese (thanks to rands black seer magic) and he is thus doomed. Paendrag is actually why I said something about funny random-number generating at the start. He just kept pulling traits, leader, brutal and blessed. The other funny part was euro...again being a goodie scanner in a game of mine. Probably 4/5 times he is a goodie scanner when I gm via total random chance. Also left alive is euro priest, villager boris, villager slinky, used up hunter/villager aok, blessed back up seer rand, blessed walrus GA and finally blessed+cursed xeno. Yes xeno was also a potential baddie. :p

Game balance was, discounting non-cursed traits for the moment, 3 wolves 1 sorcerer in a single pack+3 free cultists+4 cursed with 1 harder to get to due to blessed. Goodies had seer+priest+GA+back up seer. I am satisfied with the balance, the end result was ugly but only because the hunting was so unlucky and the village oddly helped itself by hanging villagers...just cursed ones.

First a little post game summary. The no hunt was a walrus protecting a euro. That was insanely also a near game changer. Had guy found a way to sacrifice himself over athalcor and rand kept his original scan away from ese that day the end result is dead brutal WW guy+brutalized walrus+dead priest euro and rand likely semi panics about who he thinks is clean and the game is suddenly turned on its head. Did I mention that of the original 3 names on the WW hunt list 2 were cultists? Also the seer was set to scan rand (when he was subbing and was back up seer) the day he died. Missed opportunity but only a small one. Shooting rand might have been the best move by any goodie outside of sub-seer-rand as it put rand in the seer spot. He very quickly tagged 2 wolfies with scans. Sorcerer never scanned anyone he could scan for, same with euro.

Despite there being a lot of winners I stand by the set up. No one can predict how a game will run and thus shouldn't try. EVER. Had the ww hunt list been swapped with the sorcerer scan list 2 cultists are snagged early and regardless of cursed hits the baddies will be in a great position with 6 known baddies very early in one pack. Ironically once again not hunting euro (until late and ga protected that night) and aok allowed both a JL to safely form and for aok to shoot a brutal WW. Neither was protected at all until the only night either was hunted. EL was also a cursed leader and had a chance to help the baddies bigtime had he been turned...you know instead of saving the GA on day one. ;)

The first seer did a solid job in my opinion and just never tagged anyone so stayed low. Smart move that backfired only by the fact he couldn't pull a rabbit to avoid the close hanging but he was set to hit his back up that night and almost certainly would have been safe from hanging at that point.

At some time I will run up a list of orders but they are a bit scattered atm. I was planning to rp more updates but combo of game ending faster and reinstalling Vic 2 after not playing since 1.01 kept me distracted.

I wanted to give people most of the day for people to post and speculate and have fun but also want to make sure this is up soon enough that europeans see it before they log out and to give time to debate things when most players are likely online. Sorry the game ran so few days and I couldn't pull more players. :eek:o:(
