second serious doubter of the priest. Citizen made it ok to doubt, them a few more who should have known better tried to play the doubt up. Yes, it could have been fake. But the calling attention to it didn't strike me as genuine.
 
Busy day at work so I'll put this up for all to know:

THE SUPER POPE IS APPARENTLY A SCANNED CULTIST

Kind of odd with him doing the outing yesterday... Measures will be taken to ensure the name of my contact is not lost should I perish tonight.

guys... please do not do outings so early in the day!!!! This makes us lose a lot of data to analyze.

Could this be packs counter-outing each others cultists?

And this absolutely doesn't reek of a pack wanting to kill the JL spokesman... And it's too early, which you know all too well Falc. Do you fear another outing?
 
But as soon as we killed TSP and found he wasn't a cultist we would just kill Falc... Surely it's not worth it unless he knows he's been scanned as a baddie.

And Falc would blame someone else, his "contact". Eventually, we end up with a good 3-5 days of useless voting records.

Of course, it is possible that this is in fact legit. I just think the whole plan by the baddies in that case must be hilariously bad and I try to hold some of the players here in higher esteem than that.
 
Hmm... Indeed, why superpope wasn't hunted? GA protection or because he is in fact baddie who wanted to get protection... I think it is safer to leave him alive for now. If he indeed tricked us, existing JL must know about this and since Falc's comment wasn't really compatible with this, I say this.

Meh. If the pope is a cultist, the other pack will kill him for us. If he's innocent, either pack will. What this has actually achieved is stopping the jl hooking up. If that was the aim, bravo wolves.

Myeah, might actually be a better route to take. But I seriously doubt the rest of the village will agree. One of Pope and Falc will likely die today.

Look, someone sent me a PM, claiming to be the priest, stating they scanned Bentley first, used Pope to out him, then scanned Pope, found he was a cultist too (!) and then scanned me.

If he's right, then he knew all day yesterday that he'd spilled the beans to the wrong guy which could explain the no-hunt: he found himself some protection.
 
But he must have had 3 scans by now. If Bentley was scanned night 1 why not use the guy he scanned night 0 to out Bentley rather than someone unscanned? Even if that guy had died, why not wait a day to scan someone else for you to use in your outing?
 
So you're saying Bentley sat on the scanned cultist for a day, and only made the outing after he himself had been scanned? And the priest didn't intervene until a day after scanning Bentley?

Edit: swap all "Bentley" for "Super Pope".

And I assume he found that protection by randomly posting people and one of them happened to be the GA. Riiight...

Makes no sense. Bentley was outed Day 2, after 2 scans had passed. Now it's day 3. The priest hasn't scanned both you and Pope - at least not in that order. And if he scanned Pope first, he wouldn't have used him as mouthpiece. Had he scanned you first, you would have been the mouthpiece rather than random cultist Pope.

And since cultists apparently are always attached (at least that is how I interpret the rules) Pope has a pack around to hunt the priest for him, if this is true. With a two-pack set-up it's entirely possible that Pope's pack hunts tonight and not yesterday, but it still means that the priest is essentially dead.

I'm going to make the point that the person who contacted me is not necessarily the person who contacted Falc. I.e, we may have a waffle impersonating the seer and then feeding that line to Falc.
